Transgender fmr. Dem state rep who was forced to resign TWICE slapped with child porn charges

A former New Hampshire Democrat state rep who’s a so-called “transgender woman” is allegedly also someone who likes sharing child porn.

Meet Stacie-Marie Laughton, 39, a biological man who “identifies” as a woman. Years ago, he was voted into office as a rep, becoming New Hampshire’s first openly transgender elected official. However, his stint in office didn’t last long.

After he was elected to office, news emerged that he’d been convicted in 2008 of conspiracy to commit credit card fraud and falsifying physical evidence. This bombshell revelation eventually led to Laughton resigning from his post in disgrace.

A couple of years later, Laughton went on to commit another offense.

“Laughton was arrested on a felony charge, accused of making a bomb threat against the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in February 2015. [He] blamed ‘mental illness’ for the bomb threat incident,” according to Patch.com.

However, after he paid restitution and served his sentence, he ran for office and won again (stunningly), once more becoming an elected state representative in 2020.

Yet Laughton’s crime spree STILL wasn’t over.

“[He] was arrested in July 2021 on seven counts of penalty for false information, accused of misusing the state’s 911 texting system. … [He] claimed [he] was being spoofed at the time,” Patch.com notes.

This time he remained in office, until he was reelected in November 2022. But he resigned shortly thereafter upon being arrested again — this time for stalking someone.

“As of today, I’m no longer a state representative which is very disappointing, but I’m going to come back to it. I will be attending mental health court and getting some counseling and trying to get my life back on track,” he said at the time in a Facebook video, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

“I’m not perfect. Even in the future I still won’t be perfect but I will be a better version of myself and better able to handle situations that come my way. In two years, the next state election, I will run for state representative again,” he added.

But nope. His crime spree didn’t end there either.

Fast-forward to Friday, when the Boston Herald reported that Laughton has this time been “arrested and charged with distribution of child sexual abuse images, which the self-declared transgender former lawmaker may have received from a former romantic partner who worked with children in Tyngsboro.”

“Nashua Police arrested Stacie-Marie Laughton, 39, of Derry, N.H., on Thursday. That’s the day that Laughton’s former partner Lindsay Groves, 38, of Hudson, N.H., was arrested and charged in federal court in Boston with counts of child exploitation and child pornography,” according to the Herald.

Regarding Groves, the affidavit against her reportedly states that she worked at a daycare in Tyngsboro and alleges “that she at least texted to an unidentified ‘Person 1’ four images — four also being the number of counts against Laughton — of nude children, both boys and girls, who she worked with at the daycare center.”

“The details suggest that Laughton is ‘Person 1’ in the federal affidavit but no law enforcement source has confirmed this,” the Herald notes.

At this point, critics are wondering why New Hampshire voters keep electing Laughton to office given his history of crime.

“Stacie Laughton is NOT the problem. The NH voters who elected Stacie ARE the problem,” one critic tweeted.
