The leftist purity test has claimed another victim: California State Senator Scott Wiener.
Democrats continue to eat their own in their quest to venture further and further left, and this time it’s Wiener who is being left behind. His crime? Supporting Israel as a Jewish man.
On Friday, he made an appearance at the Trans March, where he was promptly confronted, mobbed, removed, and later labeled a “genocidal-supporting center right shill” on X.

Wiener recently found himself on the business end of leftist hate when he weighed in on the “Nazi tattoo” scandal of Maine senatorial candidate Graham Platner. As BizPac Review previously reported, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s former chief of staff condemned Wiener as “another John Fetterman” for saying Platner’s tattoo, and the way he handled the backlash, was something the California lawmaker found “personally disqualifying.”
“Scott Wiener is endorsed by Jake Auchincloss. Our campaign is endorsed by Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. That should tell you who Scott Wiener is going to Washington, DC, to work with. We can’t afford another John Fetterman, especially coming from San Francisco,” former AOC chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti wrote on X.
