Trump adds another iconic self-portrait to White House wall

Another portrait of President Donald Trump is going up in the White House, and its position is tickling social media users.

The art, which features a photo of a steely-eyed Trump with stars and stripes imposed over his face, is snuggled between two portraits of former First Ladies Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton. It is located outside the East Wing, where First Lady Melania Trump has her offices. It is also in a central location where visitors pass through during their tours of the White House.

It is also the same artwork that Trump features in his Truth Social profile picture.

Unlike other Trump portraits and artwork, this doesn’t seem to have displaced or replaced any existing painting.

A staffer working in the White House dubbed it “another iconic artwork.”

“Trump was re-elected after two failed impeachment hoaxes, dozens of criminal charges, and multiple assassination attempts. He can hang art wherever he wants!”
