Trump asks DeSantis: ‘Do you think it’s easy dating Marjorie?’ MTG’s boyfriend responds.

Not even a very serious visit to Alligator Alcatraz could dampen President Donald Trump’s sense of humor.

While on the ground with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Trump quipped about the representative’s new boyfriend, Real America’s Voice Chief White House Correspondent Brian Glenn, who was covering the visit. He turned to those behind him and introduced the man, before looking at DeSantis and asking, “Do you think it’s easy dating Marjorie?”

The moment prompted laughter as the group continued on their mission, and Glenn would later upload the clip to X and give his official response.

“[Marjorie] is a joy to be with and I love her with all of my heart,” he said, along with a message of support for Trump.

But while her boyfriend cracks wise with the president, MTG is taking care of business.

While speaking to Steve Bannon on his “War Room” podcast, she dismissed the drama surrounding the “Big, Beautiful Bill” and indicated that she believes there is a bigger fight ahead.

“Is the House going to rubber-stamp this? Is this going to be like a 24-hour turnaround, ma’am?” Bannon asked.

“I cannot imagine. No, no. I can’t imagine they have the votes. There’s no way that [House Speaker Mike] Johnson has the votes in the House for this,” she replied. “We’re supposed to be back Wednesday morning to start voting at 9 a.m. I think that is not realistic. I just don’t see how that’s possible. So this is — I think it’s far from over.”

“It is really a dire situation. We’re on a time clock that’s been really set on us, so we have a lot of pressure, and then also given the fact that there’s 435 members of Congress, and it’s hard for us to get to an agreement on anything. So this whole thing is — I don’t know what to call it — it’s a shit show. And I’m sorry for saying that. I know we’re not supposed to say that on the air, but that’s truly what it is,” she added.
