A “chilling” playlist decision from the president-elect was received as a reminder to a select group imprisoned under the Biden-Harris administration that “Justice is coming…”
While tens of millions of Americans turned out in favor of victory for President-elect Donald Trump on Election Day, Jan. 6 prisoners had a particularly vested interest in the outcome. Friday, as the countdown to his White House return was underway, the GOP leader played their song to guests at his resort, considered a reminder, “We have not forgotten you.”
Sharing the moment on X, commentator Benny Johnson captioned a video from Mar-a-Lago where prisoners sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” while Trump could be heard reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, “The Most Chilling Moment From Dinner With Donald Trump.”
“Last night I had dinner next to Donald Trump at Mar A Lago. After being welcomed to the dining area with thunderous applause Trump got out his iPad and began to DJ — as he is known to do. The first song Trump played gave the entire club chills,” wrote Johnson. “Trump played ‘Justice For All’ a patriotic song he recorded with the J6 Prison Choir, a group of 20 men imprisoned after the riot at the United States Capitol. The profits from the song are dedicated to the legal aid for political prisoners incarcerated by the Biden regime.”

“The entire club stood in reverent silence as the haunting song rung out across the cavernous halls. This was a defiant message from President-Elect Trump to January 6th political prisoners: ‘We have not forgotten you. Hold on. Justice is coming…'” the commentator concluded.
In March 2023, more than two years after the U.S. Capitol had been breached, the single topped the iTunes chart, beating Miley Cyrus, Morgan Wallen, Tim McGraw, and Lauren Daigle to round out the top five.
A press release noted, “‘Justice For All’ by the J6 Prison Choir and former President Donald Trump is the first song ever released by a former U.S. President. This powerful and moving song raises awareness and support for the political prisoners still locked in jail without trial following the January 6th protest in 2021…The J6PC continues to make their voices heard through the power of music and sings ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ every evening before bed, inside Pod C2B of the DC Jail — a.k.a. — the DC gulag.”
Responding to the post, musician and producer John Rich and commentator Julie Kelly both spoke to their own involvement in bringing the single to the public as the former revealed he’d produced the track and the latter stated, “I remember standing in my kitchen in May 2021 recording the men singing the anthem in the DC gulag then posting it for the public to hear. This is really moving.”
Most no one knows this, but I produced that track. It was an honor

Since the election, the Department of Justice has turned their focus on the “most egregious” suspects that have yet to be arrested, namely those alleged to have “committed felony assaults on law enforcement officers,” while federal judges have begun postponing criminal trials for defendants with the anticipation that Trump would fulfill his pardon promise on a “case-by-case basis.”
Similar to how Michelle Witthoeft, the mother of slain U.S. Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt, had celebrated the president-elect’s forthcoming return to the White House beside others on “Freedom Corner,” where a nightly vigil had been held for more than 800 days in protest of the treatment of the Americans imprisoned from Jan. 6, other reactions to Johnson’s post were hopeful about the future of justice in Trump’s second administration.
I pray for all the J6 political prisoners that they will get justice and freedom. My prayers have been answered

This makes me think of all those who are suffering in prison. Thank God, President Trump remembers.
