The full extent of the scandal related to President Joe Biden’s family’s alleged “influence peddling scheme” is still being determined, but former President Donald Trump offered up his estimate, and it dwarfs Watergate.

Since Republicans took control of the House of Representatives following the midterm elections, promised investigations have dug deeper to expose, in part, the suspected corruption related to Biden and the foreign business deals made by members of his family like his son, Hunter Biden.
Tuesday, Trump called out the efforts of House Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) in a video, and likened their findings to “Watergate times 10.”
“What Congressmen James Comer and Jim Jordan have revealed about the Biden Crime Family would be Watergate times 10 if this News was revealed just 10 years ago,” he began.
“Our fake news media is corrupt at a level like never seen before,” the president continued. “There has never been anything like it. If this kind of information came out in the past, writers would be getting Pulitzer prizes when Pulitzer prize meant something. It doesn’t mean very much any more. Yes, our media is totally corrupt.”
The statement from Trump followed Comer’s appearance on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” where he told host Maria Bartiromo about the number of Biden family members he suspected were involved in the “influence peddling scheme.”
“Right now we have nine but I believe in the end that number will be at least 12,” the Kentucky lawmaker reported and jested, “There’s not going to be anybody left for a Christmas picture if the DOJ did their job and went in there and indicted everyone that has any type of fingerprints involved in this influence-peddling scheme. I mean it’s the entire family.”

“Again, there’s no reason, and there’s no explanation for this family to receive this many suspicious wires from adversaries around the world if Joe Biden weren’t directly involved in some type of decision-making because I am confident that these people who were wiring the Bidens were expecting to get a return on their investment,” he went on.
The suspected depth of corruption also comes following testimony from former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell who told the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees that Secretary of State Antony Blinken, then-campaign adviser for presidential candidate Joe Biden, had been key in prompting 51 intelligence officials to claim that Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop was Russian disinformation.
“I think it’s treason,” Trump said recently on Newsmax’s “Greg Kelly Reports.”
“They totally lied, just before the election. Right before the vote, they lied and said that the computer, which had all crimes on it, was Russian disinformation — 51 top people,” the president noted. “The top people in the country, they lied. I actually think it’s treasonous.”
