Trump calls for 25th Amendment changes to remove VPs who ‘cover up’ incapacity of presidents

Former President Donald J. Trump called for a change to the 25th Amendment to give the boot to a vice president who “lies or engages in a conspiracy to cover up the incapacity of the president of the United States.”

Perhaps the greatest scandal in a crazy election year is how Democrat nominee Kamala Harris was a willing participant in the covering up of President Joe Biden’s early-stage dementia for three and a half years until it was no longer possible to hide the geriatric leader’s cognitive deterioration, resulting in him being ousted as the party’s candidate in a palace coup.

On Saturday, the GOP nominee told a crowd at a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin that he supported “modifying” the amendment to prevent a future veep from concealing an unfit president’s true condition from the public, as Harris has done.

“I will support modifying the 25th amendment to make clear that if a vice president lies or engages in a conspiracy to cover up the incapacity of the president of the United States, if you do that with a cover-up of the president of the United States, it’s grounds for impeachment immediately and removal from office, because that’s what they did,” Trump told the crowd. “That’s what they did.”

Democrats and the media often called for the use of the 25th Amendment during Trump’s time in the White House but seemed to forget that it existed over the painful course of Biden’s presidency when the signs of dementia that were obvious in 2020 worsened with his stumbling, getting lost on stage and mental misfires being ignored and more recently, decried as “cheap fakes” until the polling was bad enough that suddenly after the CNN debate catastrophe, it became an issue.

After being a non-issue since Biden took office, the 25th Amendment was allegedly used as leverage to force the stubborn octogenarian career politician to give up the ghost after he dug in against calls for him to “pass the torch.”

Legendary investigative journalist Seymour Hersh reported that Barack Obama threatened Biden with the 25th Amendment and that Harris was onboard – after she covered up his condition – with his ouster if he didn’t voluntarily quit the race.

Republicans called for Biden’s removal under the amendment after the CNN debate when it was no longer possible for Harris and the media to deny that his brain had seemingly turned into oatmeal.

“There’s a lot of people asking about invoking the 25th Amendment right now,” Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) told reporters after the debate. “This is an alarming situation.”

As recently as last month, Harris was still insisting that Biden was mentally fit as a fiddle.

“Not at all,” she told CNN’s Dana Bash when she was asked if she regretted defending Biden as being able to serve another four years during her only interview since being swapped out with him in late July. “He has the intelligence, the commitment and the judgment and disposition that I think the American people rightly deserve in their president.”
