President Donald J. Trump called on Chief Justice John Roberts and the Supreme Court to act to rein in activist judges who have been permitted to drag the nation to the brink of a constitutional crisis.
The mandate to carry out reforms that he was given when the American people voted overwhelmingly to send him back to the White House has been imperiled by Democrat-appointed lower court judges who have become the new resistance against efforts to drain the swamp, firing off a flotilla of restraining orders and injunctions to halt nearly every action taken by Trump and the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
On Thursday, the day after the chief scolded him in a statement to selected leftist media, Trump urged Roberts to end the madness that has been unleashed by lawfare “lunatics” and to fix the “toxic and unprecedented situation” by immediately stepping in.

“Unlawful Nationwide Injunctions by Radical Left Judges could very well lead to the destruction of our Country! These people are Lunatics, who do not care, even a little bit, about the repercussions from their very dangerous and incorrect Decisions and Rulings. Lawyers endlessly search the United States for these Judges, and file lawsuits as quickly as they find them. It is then the obligation of Law abiding Agencies of Government to have these “Orders” overturned,” Trump said in a Thursday post to Truth Social.
“The danger is unparalleled! These Judges want to assume the Powers of the Presidency, without having to attain 80 Million Votes. They want all of the advantages with none of the risks,” he continued. “Again, a President has to be allowed to act quickly and decisively about such matters as returning murderers, drug lords, rapists, and other such type criminals back to their Homeland, or to other locations that will allow our Country to be SAFE.”
“It is our goal to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and such a high aspiration can never be done if Radical and Highly Partisan Judges are allowed to stand in the way of JUSTICE. STOP NATIONWIDE INJUNCTIONS NOW, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. If Justice Roberts and the United States Supreme Court do not fix this toxic and unprecedented situation IMMEDIATELY, our Country is in very serious trouble!” Trump wrote.
The nation’s highest court already had a chance to “fix” the problem but Roberts and “conservative” Justice Amy Coney Barrett instead sided with the three leftist women in favor of radical Judge Amir Ali, who was appointed by disgraced former President Joe Biden in the lame duck period between the election and Trump’s taking office, forcing the administration to make around $2 billion in USAID payments.
A decisive smackdown of the judicial insurrectionists would have done much to remedy the unprecedented situation, Roberts instead emboldened them, opening the floodgates for the injunctions which are now coming daily.

Only two months into Trump’s second term, there have already been more injunctions than during the entirety of the Obama and Biden presidencies, and they will continue to pile up unless Roberts acts.
In another Thursday post, Trump again singled out crooked Obama appointee James Boasberg, the D.C. district court judge who was thwarted in his attempt to prevent hundreds of violent criminal illegal alien gang members from being deported to El Salvador where they were sent to the country’s high security terrorist prison, an usurpation of the president’s constitutional powers.

“Judge James Boasberg is doing everything in his power to usurp the Power of the Presidency,” he wrote. “He is a local, unknown Judge, a Grandstander, looking for publicity, and it cannot be for any other reason, because his ‘Rulings” are so ridiculous, and inept. SAVE AMERICA!'”
The ball is in Roberts’ court, the question is will he act before public faith in the federal judiciary has been completely destroyed by the activists?
