Trump enters UFC 295 like a boss with Tucker, Kid Rock trailing – crowd roars but NOT Bill Burr’s wife

You’ve got to hand it to Donald Trump, he sure knows how to make an entrance.

The former president is in New York to attend his trial after New York Attorney General Letitia James fulfilled a campaign promise and went after him for allegedly committing fraud by overstating the value of his company’s assets, and it just so happens that UFC 295, a mixed martial arts event, was taking place Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.

A big fan of the fight game, Trump not only showed up but made a grand entrance walking alongside UFC President Dana White, while iconic rocker Kid Rock and Tucker Carlson trailed just steps behind — Carlson’s appearance raising eyebrows because his name has been bandied about lately as a possible Trump running mate.

Fittingly, the Kid Rock tune “American Badass” was playing as the Trump entourage entered — based on the crowd’s reaction, it’s safe to say they were eating it up:

The event featured a bout for the vacant Light Heavyweight Championship title between former champion Jiří Procházka and former UFC Middleweight Champion Alex Pereira. Spoiler alert — Pereira would prevail.

Clay Travis, a talk-radio host and sports journalist who founded OutKick, wondered aloud if President Biden could pull off such an entrance: “Trump rolling into the UFC tonight in NYC with Tucker and Kid Rock to USA chants. Honest question, could Joe Biden go to any sporting event in America and get this reception?”

Not that there weren’t apparent detractors in the room. Nia Renee Hill, the wife of comedian Bill Burr, was captured on video firing a double-bird in Trump’s direction as he was about to take his seat — the couple were sitting just a few seats away:
