Presumptive Republican nominee Donald J. Trump received a thunderous ovation when he entered the arena for UFC 299 in Miami, FL on Saturday night as fans roared in appreciation.
Capping off a week when he clinched his party’s nomination with a Super Tuesday knockout blow to Nikki Haley, the former president and his dazzling daughter Ivanka joined UFC president and CEO Dana White for the match between Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera.
As Trump strode into the Kaseya Center during the undercard, the jam-packed venue erupted in applause as Kid Rock’s “American Badass” reverberated through the sound system, a scene that shows how strong his support is with regular Americans.

Trump was greeted by well-wishers at the celebrity-studded event, including Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy who was seen shaking hands with the leader of the MAGA movement as he moved through the crowd to his ringside seat at the octogon.

Portnoy had previously expressed his support for Haley but may now think it’s wise to grab a seat on the Trump train before it leaves the station.
Trump also was greeted by former ESPN host Sage Steele who was benched by the network over her criticism of its COVID jab mandate, she would later leave after settling a lawsuit.
Also at UFC 299 were two NFL stars. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Nick Bosa said hello to Trump whom they posed for a picture with.

Before taking in the action in Miami, Trump spoke to another adoring crowd in the critical battleground state of Georgia, meeting with the family of 22-year-old Laken Riley, a nursing student who was brutally murdered by one of the criminal illegal aliens that have poured into the country thanks to Joe Biden’s open borders policies.
“I met her beautiful mother and family backstage,” Trump told the crowd in Rome. “They said she was like the best. She was always the best to us. They admit that she was the best, and she was the first in her class. She was going to be the best nurse. She was the best nursing student. She was always the best. She was the brightest light in every room, they told me,” Trump said, according to Fox News. “She was the whole world to her parents and to her sister and just to the whole family.”
“Biden has implemented a formal policy that illegal aliens who intrude into the United States are granted immunity from deportation,” Trump said of his election opponent. “Thus, when this monster showed up at our border, he was set free immediately under the program. That crooked Joe created it.”
