Former President Donald J. Trump responded to the taunting remarks of his nemesis, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who chortled about his arraignment in a Washington, D.C. courtroom, and as is usually the case, he brought the heat.
There is definitely no love lost between Trump and Pelosi and after two failed impeachments and the failure of the now-defunct House January 6 select committee, the 83-year-old Democrat is clearly enjoying the weaponized Justice Department’s full frontal assault on the 2024 Republican frontrunner.
During an appearance on MSNBC, the spiteful Speaker Emerita told Andrea Mitchell that Trump had the look of a man who’s met his match in Special Counsel Jack Smith, the left’s knight in shining armor.
“I wasn’t in the courtroom, of course, but when I saw his coming out of his car, and this or that, I saw a scared puppy,” Pelosi said. “He looked very, very, very concerned about the fate… I didn’t see any bravado or confidence or anything like that.”
“He knows. He knows the truth, that he lost the election and now, he’s got to face the music,” she added.

On Sunday, Trump retaliated with a fire and brimstone blast from his Truth Social platform where he unloaded on the “wicked” witch, dragged her husband Paul Pelosi into it, and predicted that one day she will be taking up residence alongside the lake of fire.
“I purposely didn’t comment on Nancy Pelosi’s very weird story concerning her husband, but now I can because she said something about me, with glee, that was really quite vicious. ‘I saw a scared puppy,’ she said, as she watched me on television, like millions of others, that didn’t see that. I wasn’t ‘scared.’ Nevertheless, how mean a thing to say! She is a Wicked Witch whose husbands journey from hell starts and finishes with her. She is a sick & demented psycho who will someday live in HELL!” Trump wrote.

The former president’s reference to Pelosi’s husband has to hurt, especially after he was blamed for instigating the October 2022 incident in which an assailant, who somehow managed to evade security at the home of the person who is second in the line of succession to the presidency, was able to enter the couple’s swanky Pacific Heights mansion and whack Paul Pelosi in the head after police arrived, with it being captured on bodycam video.

It was possibly the most bizarre incident of the year and the mysterious nature of what happened generated much speculation of what went down before the 82-year-old stock-picking wizard was assaulted by 42-year-old David DePape, an incident that came months after Mr. Pelosi was arrested for drunk driving after plowing into another driver in his Porsche on Memorial Day weekend.
As of Sunday night, the “wicked witch” had not responded to Trump’s post.
