Trump family steps up to help Floridians, hosts 275 linemen at Miami hotel

As Hurricane Milton batters Florida right on the heels of Hurricane Helene, former President Donald Trump and his family are helping the state in the best way they can.

Eric Trump posted a video of the Florida Power and Light linemen, expressing his appreciation for their bravery and work as they move to help the millions of people who have lost their utilities due to Milton.

Governor Ron DeSantis moved quickly to deploy various resources, including 9,000 National Guard members, 50,000 utility workers, and highway patrolmen with sirens to escort gas tankers that helped replenish fuel supplies for people who evacuated the area by car. Many of these resources came from states other than Florida, some even coming from as far as California.
