Trump gets the rock star treatment at NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600, angry Left’s spin will make you laugh

A far cry from FJB, fans and drivers alike reacted as former President Donald Trump was welcomed at the Coca-Cola 600.

Sunday afternoon in Concord, North Carolina, as tens of thousands of race fans gathered at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, one particular attendee was met with a narrative-defying reception. With a flyover and parade down pit lane, an atmosphere of support for Trump was undeniable.

The president’s Truth Social page along with the social media account of his deputy director of communications, Margo Martin, captured a number of highlights from the event, building the excitement even before Trump Force One had set down.

“Passing over the Charlotte Motor Speedway now — Very exciting! DJT,” posted the president while Martin snagged a view from on board.

Upon his official arrival where he took time to honor Gold Star families ahead of Memorial Day, Trump was seen accompanying Richard Childress, team owner of the #3 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet, while chants of “U.S.A.” were enthusiastically met with fist pumps from the one time commander-in-chief.

During his walk through the pit, drivers and crews alike could be seen cheering for the GOP leader, including some shouting, “I love you!” as others were quoted as saying, “You’re our man, Trump!”

The rock star treatment even saw the president warmly embraced by “the King” himself, former racer Richard Petty, who posted pictures posing with and hugging Trump with the caption, “Never know who you’re going to run in to at the racetrack!”

Charlotte Motor Speedway senior director of communications Jonathan Coleman marked Trump’s appearance as the first time a former or sitting president had attended a race there. While then-President Bill Clinton had been there in 1994, it was stipulated that his appearance had been for a Ford Mustang anniversary event, not a race.

Meanwhile, the left had more than shown their hand regarding their lasting concern about the GOP leader’s popularity as they attempted to spin the reception with challenges to Trump’s mental faculties while suggesting he had waved to “a non-existent audience.”

“BREAKING: After getting booed relentlessly last night,” posted the account Biden’s Wins referencing the Libertarian National Convention, “Donald Trump has been caught waving at a non-existent audience. It’s almost like he’s trying to stage the moment.”

In another post, the account wrote, “A clearly confused Donald Trump, after waving at a crowd that didn’t exist, is now saluting for Amazing Grace. It’s beyond clear Donald Trump isn’t mentally well.”

Additionally, the Democratic National Committee was credited by the Charlotte Observer for buying out billboards in the area ahead of the race that read, “Beware: Trump’s Extreme MAGA Agenda for North Carolina” with a pitch to the pro-baby murder crowd.

Trump’s Sunday reception stood in stark contrast to another well-known NASCAR crowd that, even early on in President Joe Biden’s administration, had expressed their disfavor for the incumbent with chants of “F*ck Joe Biden” that were spun as chants of “Let’s Go Brandon.”
