Trump granddaughter Kai shares personal video from White House Christmas party

President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai, has shared a video blog (vlog) showing her immediate family’s trip last week to the White House for a Christmas party.

Kai is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa Kay Trump. She’s become a popular figure in her own right thanks to her social media activity.

The vlog began with her telling the audience what to expect.

“This is the White House Christmas vlog, which is insane because it’s, like, very special,” she began. “Not many people get to do it. So tomorrow, my family and I are going on a plane to the White House to literally just fly there for the day, film, whatever — it’s like a Christmas party — and then come back home. I’m looking forward to it.”

“It’s always nice going to the White House, especially this time of year. It’s, like, it’s awesome with, like, the seasons and everything, but should be fun. I’m taking you guys along,” she added.

The vlog continued with her brewing some coffee, putting in a workout at a local gym, getting a car wash, getting ready, and then finally catching a flight aboard the president’s own private jet to the White House.

The flight was very festive, with Christmas music blaring in the background.

President Donald Trump made his first vlog appearance at the White House around the 14:55 remark in the video above by commenting about a statue of former President Abraham Lincoln.

“I got this from the East Wing,” he boasted in the vlog. “This came out of the East Wing, the famous East Wing. This looks good, doesn’t it, here? The same man that did the Mount Rushmore.”

Recall that the East Wing was torn down months earlier so that a giant new state ballroom could be built.

Kai then drew his attention to a new Oval Office gold sign, telling him, “The gold looks nice.”

“Very nice,” Trump responded.

Kai and her family were then shown the Oval Office. The young lady, 18, later had to run back to the Oval Office after discovering that she’d left her purse there.

The vlog also included snippets from a speech that the president delivered in which he gave a shout-out to U.S. Open golf champion Bryson DeChambeau, who also later took the mic to speak.

In addition to being a social media star, Kai is also a junior golfer who’s reportedly slated to join the University of Miami’s golf team in 2026 after she graduates high school.

According to Hello! magazine, she’s “currently ranked No. 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.”

Earlier this month, Golfweek reported that Kai would be a special contributor for the inaugural Optum Golf Channel Games broadcast that aired on Dec. 17.

“Held at Trump National Golf Club in Florida, the Golf Channel Games is a rapid-fire competition featuring two teams captained by Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy,” according to The Sun.

“Ryder Cup-winning captain Luke Donald and Shane Lowry will be part of McIlroy’s team, while Keegan Bradley and Sam Burns will play with Scheffler,” the reporting continued.

“The ‘Golf Channel Games’ bring a fresh approach to golf, inspired by events like the NFL Combine and all-star games from top professional leagues,” McIlroy, who participated in the event, told Golfweek.

“They give players the chance to showcase their skills across unique challenges and offer fans a new way to enjoy the game in the postseason. I am looking forward to competing in this new, fun format,” McIlroy added.
