Trump in Atlanta: ‘Kamala Harris should be begging Laken Riley’s family for forgiveness’

Fulfilling his promise to “UNLEASH HELL,” former President Donald Trump asserted what the vice president should be asking for instead of a promotion.

“Laken’s blood is on Kamala Harris’ hands…”

Days after Vice President Kamala Harris had called in rapper Megan Thee Stallion to help fill Georgia State University’s Convocation Center and hype the crowd for her, the GOP leader packed the same venue where he tore into the incumbent’s failures.

Among them, Trump touched on “migrant crime” as he lay blame for the February murder of Laken Riley squarely on the shoulders of the current administration and Harris in particular for her role as border czar. “Kamala should not be asking for your vote. She should be begging Laken Riley’s family for forgiveness,” the president told the crowd.

“Just a few months ago, right here in your state, I met with the devastated family — what a beautiful family — of Laken Riley, a brilliant 22-year-old nursing student — top of her class — who was out for a jog on the campus of the University of Georgia when she was assaulted, beaten and horrifically killed,” explained the onetime commander-in-chief. “Her family was — I mean, look, they’ll never be the same. Incredible family.”

“Kamala Harris let in the savage monster who murdered Laken Riley,” asserted Trump. “He was an illegal alien who was in Border Patrol custody. But, under Harris’ policies, instead of being deported immediately and fast, he was set free into America. ‘Please enjoy your stay.'”

“Laken’s blood is on Kamala Harris’ hands and she was in charge of the border,” he continued, adding, “There are many, many people like that. Laken is not the only one. Kamala is responsible for the death as though she were standing there watching it herself.”

“Three days after releasing Laken’s killer into the United States, Harris went on television and lied to the American people saying, ‘The border is secure,'” Trump reminded the crowd before asking, “What kind of a politician lies to Americans about keeping the border open while precious young girls are being assaulted and killed?”

“And Laken is one where the press was, I mean, very strong on it. But there are thousands of people that are being killed, and being criminalized and victimized by these people that are pouring into our country,” the president went on. “I call it migrant crime. We now have migrant crime in our country. It’s a new form of crime and it’s called migrant crime, and it’s vicious and it’s really bad.”

“Kamala should not be asking for your vote. She should be begging Laken Riley’s family for forgiveness. And Joe Biden would never mention her name,” the Republican presidential nominee recalled as the incumbent had been heckled into saying the victim’s name during his 2024 State of the Union address.

On Friday, Trump had teased, “At this time tomorrow, Crooked Kamala’s worst nightmares come true,” and “she won’t be able to hide from the truth any longer.”

Prior to blaming her for the tragedies wrought by the most violent among the millions of illegal aliens that had poured into the country under her watch, Trump had brought up the third reason he believed Harris and her ilk allowed for open borders in addition to contending, “They hate our country or they’re stupid.”

The third reason, he suspected, was, “They wanna sign these people up to vote.”

Drawing a contrast, Trump stated, “If Harris wins, a never-ending stream of illegal alien rapists, MS-13 animals and child predators will flood into your communities. If I win, on day one we will begin the largest deportation operation in American history…We have no choice. No country can sustain this.”
