Trump jabs Clooney after activist actor gets French citizenship: ‘Good news!’

President Donald J. Trump jabbed sanctimonious hypocrite George Clooney after the Hollywood A-lister and his human rights lawyer wife, Amal Clooney, officially became citizens of France.

The Clooneys and their twin children, Ella and Alexander, were awarded French citizenship last week, fulfilling a desire of the “Ocean’s Eleven” star to raise his family abroad after they bought a farmhouse in southern France in 2021.

“Call them Monsieur and Madame Clooney,” gushed the Associated Press, but Trump wasn’t nearly as impressed, blistering the expat Democrat activist with a reminder of how Clooney stabbed disgraced former President Joe Biden in the back after a disastrous showing in a nationally televised CNN debate.

“Good News! George and Amal Clooney, two of the worst political prognosticators of all time, have officially become citizens of France which is, sadly, in the midst of a major crime problem because of their absolutely horrendous handling of immigration, much like we had under Sleepy Joe Biden,” the president wrote in a post to Truth Social.

“Remember when Clooney, after the now infamous debate, dumped Joe during a fundraiser, only to go onto the side of another stellar candidate, Jamala(K!), who is now fighting it out with the worst governor in the Country, including Tim Waltz, Gavin Newscum, for who is going to lead the Democrats to their future defeat,” Trump continued.

“Clooney got more publicity for politics than he did for his very few, and totally mediocre, movies. He wasn’t a movie star at all, he was just an average guy who complained, constantly, about common sense in politics,” he concluded.

“I was worried about raising our kids in L.A., in the culture of Hollywood. I felt like they were never going to get a fair shake at life,” Clooney told Esquire in October. “France — they kind of don’t give a s‑‑‑ about fame. I don’t want them to be walking around worried about paparazzi. I don’t want them being compared to somebody else’s famous kids.”

Like a rat fleeing a sinking ship, Clooney turned on Biden after he headlined a star-studded fundraiser for the geriatric Democrat who had to be led around onstage by Barack Obama like a dementia patient.

Biden followed up his senile showing for the Hollywood elite who stuffed his coffers with $30 million with the now infamous CNN debate, the moment when it became impossible for Democrats and the media to maintain the illusion that the octogenarian career politician was mentally capable of serving a second term.

Shortly before the presumptive Democrat nominee was toppled by a palace coup led by Obama and scheming Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, Clooney knifed his “friend” in a  July 10, 2024 op-ed for The New York Times that many believe was the green light signaling that it was time to throw Biden overboard and replace him with then-Vice President Kamala Harris, a cackling national embarrassment who would go on to be clobbered by Trump.

“I love Joe Biden. As a senator. As a vice president and as president. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him,” Clooney wrote.“ But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can. It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe ‘big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.”

A hardcore Trump hater, Clooney recently bemoaned that CBS and ABC settled defamation lawsuits with the president rather than fight him in court.

“If CBS and ABC had challenged those lawsuits and said, ‘Go f*ck yourself,’ we wouldn’t be where we are in the country,” he told Variety, also slamming new CBS News chief editor Bari Weiss for her efforts to restore the network’s lost credibility.

“Bari Weiss is dismantling CBS News as we speak,” the actor whined. “I’m worried about how we inform ourselves and how we’re going to discern reality without a functioning press.”

“So now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting into the act. He’s turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are,” Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social on the day that Clooney’s NYT op-ed was published.
