Though former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris met each other for the first time Tuesday evening, they soon met each other once again the following morning.
They met each other again during a Wednesday morning commemoration of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
“Harris is expected to attend a service at the Memorial plaza at ground zero in New York City, as is Trump, who said in an interview on Fox News’ ‘Fox & Friends’ Wednesday morning that his running mate, Sen. JD Vance, of Ohio, will be joining him there,” according to NBC News.
“President Joe Biden will be there as well,” the outlet added.
They weren’t lying… this time.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre previously said that Biden and Harris would be attending because “they want to honor the 2,977 lives that were lost on that tragic day and support the families and also their loved ones who are still, still feeling a horrible pain.”
During the service, Harris and Trump reportedly shook hands.
“Harris, who was standing between New York Sen. Chuck Schumer and President Joe Biden, reached over the president to shake hands with Trump, who was standing next to former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg,” according to ABC News.

After they shook hands, some in the crowd of bystanders yelled out Trump’s name and begged for him to be back in office.

The president’s supporters weren’t surprised by the enthusiasm for him.
“New Yorkers begging for Trump back at the 9/11 ceremony says it all,” one supporter tweeted. “Biden and Harris are a mess, and people are desperate for strong leadership.”

Why does she have a massive grin on her face? Does she not know why she’s there?

Biden doesn’t even know where’s he at. So tired of the media covering for the left. It’s insulting and weakens our nation.

And the left’s attendees are smiling like they are at a Birthday party. A picture speaks 1000 words.

Of course she would decide to show up today. After she claimed J 6 was worse than the civil war. Was it worse than 9/11, @VP ?
Apparently she thought so. Grinning like it’s a celebration.— Reagan_68 (@jlh4468) September 11, 2024
Trump and Vance are the only ones there who actually care about the sanctity of life & what happened to the victims, including the first responders, on 9/11. Biden doesn’t even know where he is or what day it is.

After the service, Harris, Biden, and Trump were expected to travel to Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the home of the Flight 93 memorial.
“On this day 23 years ago, terrorists believed they could break our will and bring us to our knees,” Biden said in a statement. “They were wrong. They will always be wrong.”
“In the darkest of hours, we found light. And in the face of fear, we came together — to defend our country, and to help one another. Today, our longest war is finally over. But our commitment to preventing another attack on our people never will be,” he added.
The presidential campaigns of Trump and Harris are expected to pick back up on Thursday.
“On Thursday, Ms. Harris is scheduled to hold rallies in North Carolina while her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, visits Michigan, both swing states,” according to the New York Times. “Mr. Trump is set to hold a fund-raiser in Los Angeles while Mr. Vance does the same in New York City.”
“The Trump campaign will also dispatch some of his fiercest supporters — including Representative Byron Donalds of Florida and Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota — to Georgia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina as the campaigns focus on the seven states that will decide the next president,” the Times reported.
