The corporate propaganda press responded to billionaire Elon Musk interviewing former President Donald Trump by calling for their interview to be censored.
Washington Post “reporter” Cleve Wootson issued the Orwellian call for censorship during a press briefing Monday afternoon by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
“Elon Musk is slated to interview Trump tonight on X,” Wootson said. “I don’t know if the president is going to — feel free to say if he is or not — but I think that misinformation on Twitter is not just a campaign issue. It’s a, you know, America issue.”
“What role does the White House or the president have in sort of stopping that or stopping the spread of that or sort of intervening in that? Some of that was about campaign misinformation, but you know it’s a wider thing, right,” he added.

He basically asked the White House to censor the interview between Musk and Trump because it would be committing the apparent crime of voicing dissenting opinions that belie Democrat orthodoxy.
Jean-Pierre for her part eagerly went along with the so-called “reporter’s” Orwellian, outright fascist inquiry.
“Yeah, no, I mean, you’ve heard us talk about this many times from here about the responsibilities that social media platforms have when it comes to misinformation, disinformation,” she said. “I don’t have anything to read out from here about specific ways that we’re working on it, but we believe that that they have the responsibility.”
“These are private companies, so we’re also mindful of that too, but look — it is — I think it is incredibly important to call that out as you’re — you’re doing. I just don’t have any specifics on what we have been doing internally as it relates to the interviews, not something that I’m tracking, and I’m sure the President’s not tracking it either,” she added.
When Wootson’s question to Jean-Pierre later went viral, so did the backlash against him for completely distorting what it means to be a reporter.

You need to retire after calling for the Musk/Trump interview to be stopped. This is America where we have freedom of speech.

You are not a reporter, you are a propagandist, so kindly take the “reporter” part out of your bio. You should be ashamed of yourself for wanting to censor free speech.

Misinformation? Like Russian hookers pissing on beds? Maybe Ashley’s diary and Hunter’s laptop? How about #quidprojoe Oh yeah, not going to address those subjects. Got it.

The Washington Compost is now openly against the 1st Amendment.

Members of America’s corporate propaganda press aren’t the only ones who are hellbent on censoring the Musk/Trump interview.
European commissioner Thierry Breton, a fascist, sent a letter to Musk this week demanding he censor any so-called “misinformation” that came up during the Trump interview.
“We are monitoring the potential risks in the EU associated with the dissemination of content that may incite violence, hate, and racism in conjunction with major political – or societal – events around the world, including debates and interviews in the context of elections,” he wrote.
“I therefore urge you to promptly ensure the effectiveness of your systems and to report measures taken to my team,” he added.
With great audience comes greater responsibility #DSA
As there is a risk of amplification of potentially harmful content in in connection with events with major audience around the world, I sent this letter to @elonmusk

In separate but related news, Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign responded to the Musk/Trump interview by talking trash.
“Donald Trump’s extremism and dangerous Project 2025 agenda is a feature not a glitch of his campaign, which was on full display for those unlucky enough to listen tonight during whatever that was on X.com,” the campaign said in a condescending, elitist statement.
“Trump’s entire campaign is in service of people like Elon Musk and himself — self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024,” the campaign added.

The “cannot run a livestream” accusation was designed to mock Musk because his interview with Trump started about an hour late due to technical difficulties.
It was later learned that the technical difficulties were reportedly the result of a coordinated cyber attack from the left’s brownshirt goons.
There appears to be a massive DDOS attack on . Working on shutting it down.
Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and post the conversation later.
