Trump PILES ON Haley, rips victory-style speech after NH primary loss: DELUSIONAL!!!’

Former President Donald Trump roasted GOP presidential primary candidate Nikki Haley for delivering what sounded like a victory speech after losing the New Hampshire primary.

Speaking after losing to Trump, Haley vowed to stay in the race, arguing that “there are “dozens of states left to go.”

“New Hampshire is first in the nation,” she said. “It is not the last in the nation. This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go, and the next one is my sweet state of South Carolina.”

Trump did not take kindly to her vowing to remain in the fight.

“DELUSIONAL!!!” he wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, at 8:22 pm EST as Haley was speaking.

He continued the trash-talking as the evening continued.

“A very bad night for Nikki ‘Birdbrain’ Haley, but not as bad as last week, in Iowa, where she came in a DISTANT THIRD,” he wrote around 11:00 pm.

“Next week, in the Nevada Caucus, she didn’t want to play because of her bad Polling. She gets ZERO DELEGATES, I get them all. In South Carolina, I am leading by 30 to 50 points!” he added.

He later reshared a searing post from conservative radio show host Mark Levin.

“Nikki Haley’s speech was classless and dishonest,” the post reads. “She deserved Donald Trump’s rebuke. She keeps claiming victory when she loses. She gave her statement early to spin her media advocates.”

“She stands for nothing but her own self-aggrandizement. There’s no reason for any Republicans to rally around her. And she’s the media, Democrats, and establishment’s favorite Republican for a reason,” the post continues.

Trump took one final swing at Haley at 12:50 am Wednesday morning.

“Could somebody please explain to Nikki Haley that she lost – and lost really badly,” he wrote. “She also lost Iowa, BIG, last week. They were, as certain Non-Fake Media says, ‘CRUSHING DEFEATS.'”

The former president also trash-talked Haley during his own official victory speech.

“She had a very bad night. She came in third [in Iowa], and she’s still hanging around,” he begrudgingly said, according to The Guardian.  “Let’s not have somebody take a victory when she had a very bad night.”

Listen:

And finally, speaking with Fox News immediately after his victory was called, Trump urged Haley to drop out of the race.

“She should,” he said when asked if she should suspend her campaign. “She should because, otherwise, we have to keep wasting money instead of spending on Biden. If she doesn’t drop out, we have to waste money instead of spending it on Biden, which is our focus.”

“The party is very united except for her. The party is very united and we’re looking forward to going against the worst president in the history of our country,” he added.

Over on the social media platform X meanwhile, Haley doubled down her victory-sounding rhetoric.

The post seen above attracted massive backlash, with Trump supporters reminding Haley that she lost in both Iowa and New Hampshire.

Trump supporters were also quick to repeat the former president’s call for her to drop out of the race and endorse their candidate.
