President Donald Trump’s early morning Truth Social message serves as a no-nonsense warning to Iran.
As negotiations continue in the Middle East following Operation Epic Fury, it would seem that the United States is no closer to reaching a peaceful resolution with Iran. That’s according to a 4 am post from the president, featuring an AI-generated image of him holding a rifle as explosions take place in the background.

“Iran can’t get their act together. They don’t know how to sign a nonnuclear deal. They better get smart soon!” he warned.
This comes after a Wall Street Journal report indicates that Trump “has instructed aides to prepare for an extended blockade of Iran,” as he tries to gain Tehran’s compliance with a nuclear agreement.
“In recent meetings, including a Monday discussion in the Situation Room, Trump opted to continue squeezing Iran’s economy and oil exports by preventing shipping to and from its ports. He assessed that his other options—resume bombing or walk away from the conflict—carried more risk than maintaining the blockade, officials said,” the article reads.
Critics argue that this method will continue to drive up gas prices at a time when Americans are already struggling to make ends meet. The continued economic pressure could be disastrous for Republicans in the midterms if Trump can’t make a deal in the Middle East.
“On Monday, Trump told aides that Iran’s three-step offer to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and save nuclear talks for the final phase proved Tehran wasn’t negotiating in good faith, The Wall Street Journal reported,” the article continues.
But the president does not appear to be concerned with the pressure many say he should be feeling. He communicated his confidence in a Tuesday Truth Social post about Iran being in a “state of collapse.”
Iran has just informed us that they are in a “State of Collapse.” They want us to “Open the Hormuz Strait,” as soon as possible, as they try to figure out their leadership situation (Which I believe they will be able to do!). Thank you for your attention to this matter! President… pic.twitter.com/w3fA0hIM8I
