Robert De Niro is probably having second thoughts about starring in a chaotic Biden campaign press conference outside the Manhattan courthouse where former President Donald Trump is being tried on trumped-up criminal hush money charges.
The left-wing, Trump-hating actor ran into a wall of MAGA as he tried to read his scripted lines and he wore the frustration on his face — in his mind, De Niro was probably expecting a second take to get it right, as if he was on a movie set.
Casting himself as a New Yorker, De Niro claimed that Trump “wants to destroy” the entire world and take away your freedoms.
“I don’t mean to scare you. No, wait, maybe I do mean to scare you,” De Niro said. “If Trump returns to the White House, you can kiss these freedoms goodbye that we all take for granted.”
“We New Yorkers used to tolerate him when he was just another crappy real estate hustler masquerading as a big shot,” he added. “I love this city. I don’t want to destroy it. Donald Trump wants to destroy not only the city but the country, and, eventually, he could destroy the world.”
But his rantings were met with plenty of pushback from hecklers who didn’t share his hatred of Trump, both at the press conference and online.
Of course, De Niro did his part to provoke MAGA when he called them “clowns” for supporting the former president, who was born and raised in New York City. He even called one protester a “f*cking idiot” after the man accused him of being a “paid actor for the DNC.”

Trump got in on lighting up De Niro, remarking in a Truth Social post about how “small” the actor is, mentally and physically, and how he encountered a greater force in MAGA.
“I never knew how small, both mentally and physically, Wacko Former Actor Robert De Niro was,” Trump wrote. “Today, De Niro, who suffers from an incurable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, commonly known in the medical community as TDS, was met, outside the Courthouse, with a force far greater than the Radical Left – MAGA. Robert, whose movies, artistry, and brand have gone WAY DOWN IN VALUE since he entered the political arena at the request of Crooked Joe Biden, looked so pathetic and sad out there. Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio!!!”
Fox News host Greg Gutfeld dismantled De Niro on The Five, beginning with the fact that the actor showed up in downtown Manhattan wearing a mask.
“Not only do you lose your New York card, De Niro, you lose your man card,” Gutfeld said. “You went from raging bull to raging wussy. Where’s your granny panties, dirty grandpa?”
