Despite his legal troubles, former President Donald J. Trump isn’t backing off when it comes to campaigning for his return to the White House, and on Saturday, he held a rally in the key early-voting state of New Hampshire.
Holding a comfortable lead over his Republican opponents, the 2024 GOP frontrunner paid another visit to the Granite State to shore up local support and during his speech, he hit on several common themes, including taking a shot at his nemesis, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
Trump just couldn’t resist bringing up the octogenarian Democrat’s husband Paul Pelosi, the victim of a bizarre hammer attack that took place in the wee hours of the morning inside the couple’s San Francisco mansion last October, working him into the speech when promising a return to the “Trump travel ban” from global terrorism hotbeds if he wins the election.
“We had no terror during my administration. The only terror we had was Nancy Pelosi. Crazed lunatic. What the hell was going on with her husband? Let’s not ask. She had a wall around her house. It didn’t work very well.”

With the circumstances of the highly suspicious nature of the hammer attack and how David DePape ended up in the home of the woman who was third in the line of succession to the presidency despite security, Democrats and their media partners seized on the incident to smear Trump supporters in the weeks before the midterm elections that they would overperform in despite predictions of a “red wave” that failed to materialize.
Trump isn’t about to let go of the strange incident that drew much speculation about Mr. Pelosi’s relationship with his attacker.
Also during his nearly two-hour Veteran’s Day speech to the adoring crowd who turned out to hear him at Stevens High School in Claremont, Trump defiantly said that he won’t be silenced despite a gag order from the Obama-appointed judge in the J6 case brought by underhanded Biden regime Special Counsel Jack Smith in a D.C. courtroom.
“They want to silence me because I know the truth and I’m not afraid to say it,” the former president told the crowd.

And Trump also paid tribute to the nation’s veterans who he said deserve “eternal gratitude” for their sacrifices.

“In honor of our great Veterans on Veteran’s Day, we pledge to you that we will root out the Communists, Marxists, Fascists, and Radical Left Thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our Country, lie, steal, and cheat on Elections, and will do anything possible, whether legally or illegally, to destroy America, and the American Dream. The threat from outside forces is far less sinister, dangerous, and grave, than the threat from within. Despite the hatred and anger of the Radical Left Lunatics who want to destroy our Country, we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote on Truth Social in a fiery post marking Veteran’s Day.
