President Donald Trump is fed up with leftists pushing “fake” poll numbers in ads designed to make him look bad.
Taking to Truth Social, the president dismissed claims that his popularity is waning, citing his achievements and blaming “Radical Left Losers” for sharing “fake ads.”
Look:
“After winning THREE Elections, BY A LOT, I am now getting the best Polling Numbers that I have ever received. People see how strong the Economy is, the Trillions of Dollars of Investment pouring into our Country, the Record Setting Strong Border (After years of millions of criminals pouring through it, totally unvetted and unchecked!), ending 8 wars in eight months, no men playing in women’s sports, no transgender for everyone, rapidly falling Energy prices, and much more! Despite all of this, the Radical Left Losers are taking fake ads, not showing REAL Polls, but rather saying that I’m Polling at low levels. These are the people that I’ve been beating for years, and am continuing to do so, but by even bigger margins. These ads should not be allowed to run because they are FAKE!” Trump wrote.
Despite America’s distaste for the prolonged government shutdown, Trump’s approval rating has actually remained quite steady, according to the Silver Bulletin.
“At the start of the shutdown, Trump’s net approval rating in the Silver Bulletin average was -9.3. It actually ticked up slightly at first, reaching a high of -7.5 on October 17th. But as of today, Trump’s net approval rating is down to -9.5; essentially right where it was pre-shutdown,” the outlet reported.
While voters are currently more inclined to blame Republicans for the shutdown and the negative effects that have resulted from the 22-day-long closure, BizPac Review previously reported that the gap has been closing. This spells bad news for Democrats, who have already had a difficult time connecting with Americans following their devastating 2024 electoral loss.
While a majority of those polled believe that the GOP bears more blame for the shutdown than Democrats (39% vs. 33%), this 6-point margin is much smaller than it was just last week, when 41% blamed Republicans and only 30% pointed the finger at Democrats. As the ongoing shutdown continues, it can only be assumed that the margin will narrow further until eventually the majority believes that the left is responsible for keeping things closed.
Additionally, 20% of respondents believe that both sides are equally responsible for the current situation, which is down from the 23% who gave the same response in the previous week.
