Former President Donald J. Trump marked another day of not being formally indicted by a New York City grand jury that may not be as eager to bring charges against the GOP frontrunner in the opposition party’s race to retake the White House from authoritarian Democrat Joe Biden.
For reasons that remain unclear, the grand jury investigating the ex-POTUS on trumped-up charges related to a “hush money” payment to adult movie “actress” Stormy Daniels was called off for the second day in a row on Thursday with it now certain that the ongoing drama will drag on into next week, a development that opened the door to Trump taking to his Truth Social platform to taunt his antagonists in a pair of blistering afternoon posts amid whispers of turmoil in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office.
“Total disarray in the Manhattan D.A.’s Office. Tremendous dissension and chaos because they have NO CASE, and many of the honest people in the Office know it, and want to do the right thing. They think back to the Late, Great, Bob Morgenthau, the best ever,and know what he would have done. JUSTICE FOR ALL!” the ex-POTUS wrote on Truth Social.

Later in the afternoon, Trump threw down another Truth Social lightning bolt, only he didn’t stop with Bragg, calling out the “HUMAN SCUM” who have thrown everything at him including multiple kitchen sinks since the bombastic billionaire businessman entered the political realm and kicked down the outhouse door on the corrupt denizens of the great D.C. swamp. And while not naming names, he has previously accused his predecessor, Barack Obama of “spying” on his campaign.
“Isn’t it terrible that D.A. Bragg refuses to do the right thing and ‘call it a day?’ He would rather indict an innocent man and create years of hatred, chaos, and turmoil, than give him his well deserved “freedom.” The whole Country sees what is going on, and they’re not going to take it anymore. They’ve had enough! There was no Error made, No Misdemeanor, No Crime and, above all, NO CASE. They spied on my campaign, Rigged the Election, falsely Impeached, cheated and lied. They are HUMAN SCUM!” Trump declared.

As has been a part of the pattern for nearly eight years, the resilient Trump has once again left his many foes flummoxed – at least for now – as the runaway train in the form of the malicious prosecution by the George Soros-backed DA appears to have temporarily run out of steam as negative publicity builds the longer that the process drags on amid whispers of internal discontent within the district attorney’s office.
Earlier on Thursday, Bragg, who has been stewing in his own juices, vented against congressional Republicans who are in the process of putting together an investigation of the investigators, boiling over in a letter sent to the House Judiciary Committee.
In the letter, George Soros’ legal hitman whined that Trump had created unrealistic expectations about his being cuffed and perp walked after the target of his witch hunt claimed that he would be hauled in on Tuesday while calling for his supporters to protest.

“The Letter only came after Donald Trump created a false expectation that he would be arrested the next day and his lawyers reportedly urged you to intervene,” wrote Bragg. “Neither fact is a legitimate basis for congressional inquiry.”
Sadly for Resistance ravers, the predicted arrest never materialized, leaving them reduced to salivating over a collection of deepfake AI-generated images of Trump’s arrest and imprisonment that were posted to Twitter, a sad substitute for the real thing after a bitter letdown for them.

While Bragg may yet recover to follow through on his banana republic move to indict the top opposition party leader, it is beyond debate that this week has really sucked for him with negative publicity, a lack of enthusiasm from some Democrats including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) who declined to give him a vote of confidence, the inexplicable grand jury cancellations and an inconvenient bombshell in the form of an unearthed 2018 letter from star witness Michael Cohen’s attorney to federal election officials casting further doubt on the credibility of Trump’s sleazy ex-lawyer who flipped against him, not to mention the rumored “major dissension” in his office.
Trump has repeatedly flogged Bragg like a cheap mule, including calling him a “Soros backed animal who just doesn’t care about right or wrong…,” in a Thursday morning Truth Social missive, and he’s only getting warmed up.
