Following Tuesday’s debate, former President Donald Trump says hosting news organization ABC News should be punished.
Trump joined “Fox & Friends” early Wednesday morning to discuss the debate, including ABC’s refusal to fact-check Vice President Kamala Harris on numerous topics including Project 2025, IVF, and the left’s favorite hoax, the “very fine people” lie.

JUST IN: Donald Trump calls for ABC News to get their license taken away after their abysmal debate moderation last night.
Moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis are under fire for their continuous fact-checks of Trump without any for Harris.

“What is your reaction, why didn’t the moderators correct her?” host Ainsley Earhardt asked the former president, who joined the show by phone.
“Because they’re dishonest and because- I think ABC took a big hit last night. I mean, to be honest, they’re a news organization they need to be licensed to do it. They ought to take away their license for the way they did that,” Trump said.
“IVF, I was a leader on IVF. The IVF, which is fertilization, I was a total leader on that, when I first heard about it like right from the beginning I was one of the leaders on it, and the Republican party is a leader on it,” the former president continued. “She tried to say it was just the opposite. The whole thing with abortion, what she said, I mean it was incredible.”
He pointed out that the moderators never once corrected Harris’s use of long-debunked conspiracy theories, but were quick to check him if he said anything they didn’t like.
“I think he corrected me six times, and each time I was right. I believe each time I was right,” Trump said. “Didn’t correct her at all, and she was saying these things. She was using Charlottesville!”
Social media weighed in:
If Harris had a chance to get through to Americans, ABC wrecked it by coddling her live on air in front of millions of American voters.
Do Americans want a president who needs constant supervision and protection during debates and negotiations?

President Trump is right, what they did last night was election interference

ABC News is a disgrace to their so-called “profession.”

David Muir should have to register his debate moderation as an in-kind donation to the Kamala Harris campaign.
That was some of the most shameful pro-Democrat debate moderation I have seen.

To be fair, may aswell been the Moderators vs Trump… Harris didn’t really need to say much cause the Moderators we’re doing her job..
They were leading her into each question everytime they rebutted Trump..
It was fricken staged.

It’s absolutely clear Kamala was given the questions in advance. She had polished refined answers at the ready without her even having to think.
Now you know what she was doing hiding for 6 days of ‘PREP’.
— GoodFights (@LionOfJudah_12) September 11, 2024
It was a complete sham.
ABC is an embarrassment like any other legacy media station. No integrity, painful to watch, extreme bias.

They were horrible! He was debating three people! How is that fair? No fact checking Harris, not even once! How can the American people make an informed decision with a debate staged in this manner?
