Former President Donald J. Trump continued his heavy schedule of rallies, podcasts, and media appearances in the final weeks before the election and appeared on Fox News again over the weekend.
The energetic GOP nominee has shown stamina down the home stretch that proves how ridiculous the new line of attack from Kamala Harris and her clown show that he’s “exhausted” is and he sat down with “MediaBuzz” host Howard Kurtz for a wide-ranging interview that aired on Sunday.
But the former president was undercut by the host’s “fact-checking” of him on several points, giving leftist media outlets fodder to portray him as being untruthful and crowing that he was called out on Fox News.
Most notably, Kurtz acted to protect the official narrative of the J6 “insurrection” after Trump was dismissive of the amount of “violence” that occurred and said that some police had escorted protesters into the building – which has been seen in surveillance video – on the chaotic day.

“To clarify, police did not usher protesters into the Capitol. They were totally overrun, though in some cases, they may have beaten a tactical retreat. Donald Trump continues to argue, as you know, that the last election was rigged, though that’s never been proven in any of the lawsuits filed,” Kurtz told viewers in comments that were added outside of the interview.
Kurtz also pushed back against Trump over his reference to some reports of Haitian migrants eating people’s pets in Springfield, OH, drawing high praise from CNN’s recently rehired Brian Stelter.

Kurtz’s “fact-checks” drew an angry response from X users.

Howard Kurtz is one of the worst on @FoxNews. Has been for a long time. Gets an interview with Trump and thinks its time for “MediaBuzz” dude to make a name for himself. First thing he does is rehash the same old Jan 6 questions.

Kurtz has been at Fox News since 2013 but previously worked at the Washington Post and for the Daily Beast, the outlets that typically “fact-check” everything that Trump says.
