President Donald J. Trump unloaded on Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), torching the Somali-born congresswoman over her constant complaining about America and pointing out that her homeland is a corrupt hellhole that ranks among the worst places on the planet.
In a Thursday post to Truth Social as he returned from his visit to the UK, Trump tore into the America-hating Democrat who specializes in trashing her adopted country, an attitude that has made her into one of the left’s biggest stars since she was elected to Congress.
“Ilhan Omar’s Country of Somalia is plagued by a lack of central Government control, persistent Poverty, Hunger, Resurgent Terrorism, Piracy, decades of Civil War, Corruption, and pervasive Violence. 70% of the population lives in extreme Poverty, and widespread Food Insecurity. Somalia is consistently ranked among the World’s Most Corrupt Countries, including Bribery, Embezzlement, and a Dysfunctional Government. All of this, and Ilhan Omar tells us how to run America!” the leader of the free world wrote.

“P.S. Wasn’t she the one that married her brother in order to gain Citizenship???” Trump added. “What SCUM we have in our Country, telling us what to do, and how to do it. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
The president’s Truth Social blast comes after the “Squad” member narrowly averted a formal House rebuke for her vile remarks about slain Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in Utah last week.
The measure to censure Omar went down in flames when Republicans joined their friends on the other side of the aisle to table it, once again showing the difficulty in holding Democrats accountable for their incendiary rhetoric, which has ushered in an era of political violence not seen in the United States since the tumultuous 1960s.
When asked about the failed resolution to censure Omar on board Air Force One on Thursday, Trump said that she should be impeached.

“I think she should be impeached. I think she’s terrible,” he said, asking a reporter if the congresswoman was from Somalia.
“So how are they doing? How’s your government? Do they have a president? Do they have a council? Do they have anything? Do they have police? I love these people,” Trump said. “They come from a place with nothing, nothing, no, anything, and then they tell us how to run our country.”
“If she got censured, that’s great; if she got impeached, that’s even better,” the president added.
Omar may not be out of the woods yet as a GOP lawmaker announced his intent to file a complaint with the House Ethics Committee, citing her “obnoxious, insulting and dismissive comments following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.”

“I will be filing tomorrow … a complaint with the Committee on Ethics in the House of Representatives with 18 very concerning incidents and/or behaviors and/or statements that, on their face, reflect poorly on the House of Representatives,” said Rep. Mike Flood (R-Neb.) on Thursday, according to Fox News.
“Second, harboring illegal immigrants. I believe in February of this year that Omar hosted a workshop advising Somalians on how to avoid being deported after protecting the laws of the United States,” Flood continued. “No. 3, she’s used TikTok for mixed official and campaign content, which specifically violates other House rules.”
There’s a lot of hate under the hijab, and the congresswoman has repeatedly crossed the line, never being held accountable for her inciteful words and spitting on the country that welcomed her and her family with open arms.
