Trump won’t let up, hits ‘The Boss’ again

The war of words between President Donald Trump and Bruce Springsteen continued as a doctored image of “The Boss” made social media waves.

Following mutual criticism, Trump’s latest dig at the singer came in the form of an eyebrow-raising image of Springsteen with bad teeth, little hair, and aged skin.

“Bruce Springsteen prior to plastic surgery???” the caption on the post, shared on Truth Social, read.

The “Born in the USA” singer has been on a tear against the president, taking his insults and criticism on the road as he unloads on Trump and his administration at concert performances.

“This White House is destroying the American idea and our reputation around the world. To many, we are no longer looked upon as an often imperfect but strong defender of democracy standing for the global good,” he ranted at a Minneapolis show with his E Street Band. “We are no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave. We are now, to many, America the reckless, unpredictable, predatory rogue nation. That is this administration’s and this president’s legacy. This is happening now.”

Trump has called for a boycott of Springsteen’s shows, and the 76-year-old singer continues to attack the president.

“Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS,” Trump posted earlier this month.

“The guy is a total loser who spews hate against a President who won a Landslide Election, including the popular vote, all Seven Swing States, and 86% of the Counties across America,” he wrote.

Many have grown tired of the singer’s anti-Trump speeches, including his former drummer, Vini Lopez.

“You gotta have respect for the president,” Lopez said in a recent interview with the New York Post. “Trump is the president of the United States — everyone should have respect for him.”

“He is the president of the United States. And if I was standing there talking to him, I would have mucho respect for the man,” Lopez insisted, adding that he “wouldn’t talk to him about anything that’s going on” in politics.

The original E Street Band drummer noted that he is “not against what Bruce is saying” as he has the right to speak his mind, though he is not a fan of dividing fans and others with political rhetoric.

“Maybe when I was 20, I was a little more extreme, but I’m 77 now, so the extremities are gone,” he said. “It’s so divided, the political part. It’s a tough one on me.”
