Tucker delivers more narrative-busting footage: Officer Sicknick ‘slain’? Josh Hawley a coward? Not quite!

Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s review of the January 6 footage revealed many insights that dispel the narratives built up by corporate media and agenda-driven leftists with some particular points that emphasize “they withheld evidence for partisan political reasons.”

From the start, it was known that the Jan. 6 committee would be a witch hunt against former President Donald Trump and conservatives. Throughout the spectacle, cherry-picking footage that was made available, the public was expected to believe that when democracy itself was threatened, a Capitol Police Officer had become a victim of the mob and, among other things, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) was a coward.

Monday night, after his team reviewed around 40,000 hours of footage, Carlson set the record straight on several of these points, including reports that fallen officer Brian Sicknick had been “slain” on Jan. 6.

“To this day, media accounts describe Sicknick as someone who was ‘slain’ on Jan. 6. The video we reviewed proves that is a lie,” the host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” said before showing footage of Sicknick walking around inside the Capitol after the point he was supposedly murdered by the mob.

“By all appearances, Sicknick is healthy and vigorous,” Carlson narrated. “He’s wearing a helmet, so it’s hard to imagine he was killed by a head injury.”

As previously reported, a medical examiner had determined that Sicknick had died after suffering two strokes after the events on Jan. 6 and no specific interaction with people at the Capitol was attributed to the cause.

Another claim oft-repeated was how Hawley had postured himself as a supporter of the protestors when outside, knowing he was being filmed, but had fled inside the building when purportedly all alone. Carlson presented the moment from a Jan. 6 hearing where those in attendance laughed at the selectively edited clip of the Missouri lawmaker dashing through a hall by himself.

“But in fact, the surveillance footage we reviewed showed that famous clip was a sham, edited deceptively by the Jan. 6 committee,” the host said as images of lawmakers running through the same hall preceding Hawley played. “The clip was propaganda, not evidence.”

“And in fact, Hawley was at the back of the pack. The coward tape was a lie. One of many from the Jan. 6 committee,” Carlson concluded, as he did so at length throughout Monday’s program.

As covered, the Fox News host’s look delved into how the “QAnon Shaman” was actually treated by authorities inside the Capitol as well as the behavior of the vast majority of those who entered the building, despite the way former Reps. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) and Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) had tried to portray them.

“The footage does not show an insurrection or a riot in progress. Taken as a whole, the video record does not support the claim that Jan. 6 was an insurrection. In fact, it demolishes that claim. And that’s exactly why the Democratic Party and its allies in the media prevented you from seeing it,” he said. “By controlling the images you are allowed to view from Jan. 6, they controlled how the public understood that day. They could lie about what happened and you would never know the difference.”

Since Carlson’s broadcast, reactions have poured in en masse about what these revelations mean and billionaire Elon Musk has summed it up best when responding to a quick summation of the lies that included the reports of Sicknick’s death and Hawley running away.

“Besides misleading the public, they withheld evidence for partisan political reasons that sent people to prison for far more serious crimes than they committed,” Musk wrote. “That is deeply wrong, legally and morally.”
