Tucker, Ice Cube PART 2: Profound discussion about everything, including why Cube is shunned by Oprah

Tucker Carlson and Ice Cube discussed his censorship by the left, how race plays into current culture, and the widening gap between the wealthy and poor in a riveting interview.

It was a discussion that you just never see via mainstream media and viewers ate it up, relishing in the truth being spoken whether they agreed with all of what was said or not.

It’s part two of Carlson speaking with Ice Cube. In the first video, Tucker Carlson rode around with the rapper in South Central LA discussing how he turned down a $9 million movie role because of the COVID vaccine. That set social media on fire. This second video showcased the independence and thoughtfulness of Ice Cube, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson.

“So, why would you be doing this of all interviews?” Carlson asked Ice Cube, pointing out that the 54-year-old rapper, producer, and actor would be subjected to abuse for speaking with him.

“Because I think it’s silly not to talk to people. I think… whether we agree or not, that has nothing to do with it. You know… it’s like… this is what it’s all about. Let’s talk about it. Let’s debate,” he responded.

Carlson told Ice Cube that his response sounded like right-wing extremism, which got a laugh from his guest, and added that it was “whataboutism.”

Ice Cube went on to tell the former Fox News host that there were certain shows that just wouldn’t have him on because of his political views, including “The View” and Oprah Winfrey. He said they didn’t like that he was an “independent thinker and not part of the herd” or a part of the “go along to get along gang.” He noted that he was an “outsider” and “not part of the club.”

Meanwhile, shows such as Carlson’s and podcaster Joe Rogan’s have been glad to let the rapper voice his opinions.

Ice Cube has said previously he is not a supporter of former President Trump but that he would be willing to meet with him to have a discussion. He posited that may also play into his being shunned by leftists in the media. He called that mindset “idiotic.” Interestingly, the Biden administration seems to have no interest in him either because of his views on various subjects.

The two men discussed politics, the military, and the police as well. Ice Cube’s commentary on the police was that they wanted to win and get home at night. He asserted they were more interested in winning the fight during the day than in getting true justice or protecting rights. He was honest about where he stood and,  even though many conservatives would not agree with that, Carlson let him have his opinion and did not silence him over it.

Carlson and the rapper discussed manhood today and the difficulties that faces as well.

They also spoke about race and how that is part of current culture. Ice Cube contends there is far too much discussion of race these days and many would wholeheartedly agree with that statement.

He also expounded on America’s financial system and how it treats black people, pointing out their lack of access to capital.

They wrapped up the sit-down talking about being a success. All in all, it was a wide-ranging, very candid discussion that was received very well on Twitter:
