Tucker offers ‘best’ life advice: ‘I have no obligation to believe anybody’

Truth was the first casualty in the cultural revolution being forced upon America today by the Marxist-inspired hard left, with social media providing the perfect platform to exploit the void with a relentless campaign of propaganda.

All of which makes some wise advice offered by Tucker Carlson all the more relevant.

A clip from an interview Carlson sat down for with comedian and podcaster Theo Von — aka Theodor Capitani von Kurnatowski — featured the former Fox News host offering what was seen by some as the “best life advice.”

“The only thing that enrages me is when you hear people say, you know, ‘You must believe me.’ I have no obligation to believe anybody,” Carlson said. “You have an obligation if you want me to believe you to prove what you’re saying.”

“And I have a right to ask simple fair questions. How do you know that? How can I trust that? How and if, and if you don’t give me those answers, then I just don’t believe you. And I don’t have to believe you,” he continued. “And if your recourse is, ‘You’re a bad person for not believing me,’ f*ck you. That’s my response, f*ck you.

Carlson spoke about his exit from Fox News and said Elon Musk called him the same day to tell him he would always keep the platform formerly known as Twitter open to differing views

“I was thrown out,” Carlson said of his departure, explaining that he took “most of our staff” at Fox News with him.

As for Musk’s sales pitch, Carlson said, “That’s the guarantee that I wanted and needed, and so I’ve been super grateful. I mean that’s all I’ve ever wanted, by the way.”

He also talked about what he can’t deal with, which may or may not have something to do with his breakup with Fox News.

“I just don’t want to be bossed around and, by the way, I don’t mind taking advice or wise counsel from people I respect or — I’m often wrong. I’m not saying that I’m always right. I’m definitely not, but being ordered to do things suggests a level of disrespect I just can’t — I just can’t deal with it at all.”

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
