Tucker Carlson isn’t a fan of Michigan GOP Senate candidate Mike Rogers, and apparently would rather a Muslim radical won the pivotal midterm race.
With control of the Senate now up for grabs in the rapidly approaching midterms, all eyes are on the Wolverine State where the former congressman is in a battle with Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, one of the Bernie Sanders-endorsed leftists who have racked up a series of primary wins this summer.
The former Fox News host and podcaster effectively endorsed El-Sayed, once again bucking President Donald J. Trump, who is backing Rogers, whom Carlson declared he wouldn’t vote for if someone held a gun on him.

Carlson appeared on the latest episode of the “Tucker Carlson Show” podcast where he and “Breaking Points” co-host Saagar Enjeti discussed the Michigan race, one that is vital if the GOP is to retain control over the Senate.
“I wouldn’t vote for Mike Rogers at gunpoint,” he said.
Enjeti pointed out that Rogers came up short in his last attempt to run for Senate, losing to Democrat Elissa Slotkin in 2024 despite Trump winning Michigan.
“And so that’s the candidate,” he said. “A literal loser who lost when Donald Trump won the state, just to show you how much of a headwind he had at his back.”
“He’s basically a tool of Israel and the intelligence agencies; how would you run someone like that?” Carlson said of Rogers. “I don’t, it doesn’t even make sense.”
Enjeti acknowledged that El-Sayed is “a full-blown leftist,” but marveled at his use of the American flag as a prop at rallies, calling it and the candidate’s populist message as “almost Trumpian.”
“Well, it is literally Trumpian,” Carlson agreed.
El-Sayed has campaigned with controversial left-wing streamer Hasan Piker, a man who has trashed the Republican Party as the “biggest domestic terrorist” in America and abroad and is running on an openly socialist platform.
Piker’s uncle was immensely pleased with the “endorsement” from Tucker.

Carlson also said of Rogers that “there’s no one who should be farther from a position of power than Mike Rogers. How did he get the Republican nomination for Senate?”
“I would think so,” he said of El-Sayed’s chances of winning, agreeing with his guest.
Carlson’s public break with his former ally went to an entirely new level when he recently called for Trump to be removed from office, suggesting that he could nuke Iran, infuriating the president’s MAGA base.
