Tucker trolls Trudeau with ominous voicemail message ahead of Canada visit: ‘We are coming’

Tucker Carlson lit up social media with an epic troll of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

What some laughed at as a monumental prank call was delivered with all seriousness by the former Fox News host who left a voicemail with Trudeau’s Canada press office.

“Hi. I couldn’t understand the French part, but it’s Tucker Carlson calling from the United States,” he began in the video clip he posted to his Instagram account after a recorded voice message greeted him in English and French.

“And I’d be grateful if you’d pass a message on to the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau,” Carlson said.

“We are coming to liberate Canada. We are coming to liberate Canada, and we’ll be there soon,” Carlson said, adding, “Mercí.”

Carlson is headed to Calgary, Alberta, where he is set to appear at the Telus Convention Center along with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith. His anticipated trip to America’s northern neighbor sparked a wave of backlash from leftists and even an online petition aimed at keeping the conservative out of Canada.

Alberta New Democratic Party (NDP) leader Rachel Notley claimed Carlson “is not a credible figure” and urged Smith not to appear with him.

“The fact that our premier believes it’s appropriate to normalize the things this person would say by appearing on a stage with him demonstrates a profound lack of judgment on her part,” Notley said back in November. “I would call on the premier to immediately cancel that planned appearance, because Albertans deserve better from their leadership.”

Smith’s press secretary said she “participates in a variety of public and private events and does interviews with dozens of reporters, broadcasters and podcasters from across the political spectrum.”

“Obviously, she does not subscribe to every view of every interviewer or reporter she speaks with, whether that’s the CBC, the Toronto Star, or Tucker Carlson. The premier aims to share Alberta’s message with as many people as possible whether they’re from Alberta, Canada, or around the world,” Sam Blackett said in a statement at the time.

Carlson will be speaking in Alberta and Calgary – and another petition was launched against his appearance by Pride Corner on Whyte, an organization billed as “a group of queers and allies” that “combats discrimination with dancing, music, education and love!”

Carlson’s call to Trudeau, however, hit the mark for many on social media where even X owner Elon Musk reacted with fire emojis.

Best-selling author and renowned psychologist Jordan Peterson, who has been having his own battle with Canada’s woke left trying to silence him, seemed happy with Carlson’s planned visit.
