Tulsi Gabbard slams Biden and Harris for snubbing pro-Israel rally

Former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard joined a crowd estimated to be nearly 300,000 who turned out in Washington, D.C. in a show of support for Israel but two very prominent leaders of her former party were nowhere in sight.

Neither President Joe Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris were in attendance at the “March for Israel” on Tuesday, a welcome counter to the pro-Hamas demonstrations that have been going on for weeks after the Jewish state retaliated against the Hamas terror organization that was responsible for the massacre of over 1,300 of its citizens last month.

Gabbard, who left the Democrats out of disgust for what they’ve become, is now a Fox News contributor and she called out the two top elected Democrats for their “very loud absence” at a time when anti-Semitism is raging in America and the Jewish state’s domestic enemies have been egged on by left-wing politicians.

“I gotta tell you, there’s a very loud absence, though, in knowing that President Biden and Vice President Harris are literally just down the street as people are traveling here from all over the country,” Gabbard stated while describing the atmosphere before the rally.

“Yet they don’t feel it’s important enough to come and stand with our fellow Americans to send this strong and resounding message at a time when anti-Semitic attacks around the world are at their height, that we will not allow it to continue,” she continued. “That we stand with Israel and the Jewish people.”

“They are a reminder of why I left the Democratic party,” she said. “It’s a party that’s become led by and rife with Islamist apologists. People who are more afraid of being called bigoted Islamophobes than they are about actually showing up for the Jewish people, for America, for peace and security and freedom.”

“I joined over 290,000 Americans at the historic March for Israel yesterday in Washington DC to take a stand against anti-semitism, against Islamist terrorists, and to stand in solidarity with the Jewish people who face unprecedented threats and attacks. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were a no show,” Gabbard later wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“One reason I left the Dem Party is because it is led by and rife with Islamist apologists and protectors who label anyone who opposes Islamist terrorists like Hamas as ‘Islamophobes,'” she added.

The White House recently reacted to the horrific scenes of anti-Semitic mobs in the streets by announcing the “first-ever national strategy to counter Islamophobia” with the veep proudly describing the regime’s misplaced priorities.

Biden finds himself in a serious predicament where he risks angering the rabid Jew-haters that comprise a considerable and rapidly growing chunk of his party’s base if he shows too much support for Israel and it could cost him the election if he is seen as taking sides.
