The latest suspension from Elon Musk’s Twitter 2.0 further called into question the degradation and politicization of federal agencies as satire got flagged while violent threats remained.
As engagement and experience have improved on the billionaire-owned social media platform for all but radical leftists, upset over the collapse of their echo chamber, perceived wrongs long overlooked are being righted at every turn. While much of that has involved the restoration of accounts wrongly suspended, on Saturday it included blocking the Colorado Spring AntiFascists from continuing to dox and incite violence.
Journalist and editor-at-large for The Post Millennial, Andy Ngô, who has been at the forefront of coverage pertaining to Antifa including his bestselling book “Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy,” posted the positive news stating, “Breaking: @COSAntiFascists, the Colorado Springs cell of #Antifa, has been suspended on Twitter. The account has operated for years instructing comrades to assault people & directing members to get the home addresses, phone numbers of targets. It had 15k followers.”

The tweet included screenshots of messages sent out to the radical group’s followers encouraging them to knock out teeth of people they considered “transphobes” and share addresses of individuals.
On Thanksgiving Musk asserted, “Removing child exploitation is priority #1” in response to a user stating “Twitter is reportedly nuking pedo accounts. This is eliminating much of Antifa Twitter.”

Reacting to that post, Ngô contended, “A large number of Antifa accounts operate on Twitter to promote riots, give tips on how to commit violent crimes & post names, photos & addresses of tragets plus their family members.”
To that, the billionaire replied, “Incitement to violence will result in account suspension.”

True to that promise, @COSAntiFacists got the axe Saturday, but in the wake of the sixth edition of the “Twitter Files,” it didn’t go unnoticed that the same FBI which has ignored the vandalism by pro-abortion activists of pro-life clinics and was revealed to be monitoring jokes on the social media platform as credible threats in recent weeks, was completely ignoring radical leftists.
As previously reported, an FBI task force had been formed that “swelled to 80 agents and corresponded with Twitter to identify alleged foreign influence and election tampering of all kinds.”
Journalist Matt Taibbi wrote at the direction of the FBI, “Twitter personnel…went on to look for reasons to suspend” four accounts that included one “whose tweets are almost all jokes.”

“‘Anyone who cannot discern obvious satire from reality has no place making decisions fro others or working for the feds’ said @ClairFosterPHD, when told about the flagging,” Taibbi posted. On Nov. 5, 2022, the San Francisco field office had compiled a new list of accounts that “may warrant additional action” that was sent to Twitter for review. This included actor Billy Baldwin.”
The Colorado Springs group was not the only account to be suspended this week as others faced similar ramifications for their promotion of violent extremism, but the fact remains that the FBI remained more concerned about satire.
