‘Unhinged!’ House Dem calls for people to ‘rise up’ against ICE ‘Gestapo’

U.S. Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.) is calling on Americans to “rise up” against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, comparing those tasked with enforcing U.S. immigration laws to Nazis.

The brazen attack came amid a dramatic increase in assaults carried out against the federal agents, according to Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.

“This is a time for good trouble. This is a time for Americans to rise up,” the Democrat said this week at an anti-immigration enforcement rally in Newington, Connecticut. “This is not Germany. That’s the SS and the Gestapo. This is the United States of America. Unmask yourselves.”

The official White House Rapid Response team blasted Larson for his irresponsible rhetoric.

“An absolutely unhinged @RepJohnLarson screams that ICE agents are ‘the SS’ and ‘the Gestapo’ for arresting illegal immigrants. Democrats continue to value illegals and criminals over law-abiding citizens, while endangering the heroes working to keep us safe — it’s sick,” read a post shared on X.

The call for ICE agents to “unmask” aids an ongoing campaign to identify these agents for reprisals.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the 2024 Democratic vice presidential nominee, joined the chorus in July, comparing ICE agents to Nazis, as seen below.

Democrats are also calling these federal agents “terrorists,” as seen below in Tennessee — all the while, some insist that the Taliban are a “counterterrorism” force.

As we have seen with the left-wing domestic terrorist group Antifa, calling someone a Nazi justifies punching them in the face — or worse. In the end, Democrats understand that enforcing immigration laws will not only cost them seats in Congress but will also result in lost elections.
