‘Unspeakable evil’: Medical student backs ‘full term’ abortion, vows to leave Wisconsin over restrictions

Abortion or bust said one Wisconsin medical school student who issued an ultimatum Monday at the state Capitol while claiming “a lot” of peers agree.

Between Democrats’ midterm messaging, continued demonization of the annual March for Life by corporate media and Vice President Kamala Harris’ barnstorming for baby murder, it is readily apparent that a post-Roe world is not one where pro-life advocates can rest on their laurels.

Demonstrating precisely how pervasive attempts to normalize ending pre-born life have become, a Medical College of Wisconsin student testified to her university’s indoctrination Monday as she voiced her opposition to a proposed ban after 14 weeks with exceptions where the health or life of the mother were at risk.

“I think abortion should be unrestrictive,” said student Madalynn Welch alongside her peer Maya Seshan in a clip Libs of TikTok summed up as “Demonic.”

“And I think when somebody finds out in pregnancy when — how far along that they are — when someone finds out, they should be able to get an abortion if they want to. And for some people, that is full term,” Welch continued before asserting, “If I can’t get abortion training here, if I can’t perform abortions in my career, I will not stay in Wisconsin. And a lot of my colleagues who are on the same track agree.”

Before Republicans had introduced an amendment to the legislation to include exceptions for rape and incest as a means to make the bill more palatable, despite the likelihood of it getting vetoed by Democratic Gov. Tony Evers, Republican state Rep. Amanda Nedweski, who co-authored the bill with state Sen. Mary Felzkowski, had criticized opposition against the proposal that would only be adopted if voters assented in April

“Political parties use abortion as an emotional shiny object to distract people from what’s really going on,” she said during the hearing. “If the people have a voice in settling this issue, we might actually be able to focus on some other issues that affect our state.”

Though corporate media and leftists repeatedly contended there was no support for late-stage abortions, the pushback demonstrated by Welch was echoed by Seshan who said Monday, “When you put physicians in a gray area every day, their ability to quickly save the lives of the person they’re working on makes their lives harder.”

Meanwhile, their school’s website boasted about their record of the “development of the next generation of reproductive healthcare professionals” as it defended the practice of abortion with the preferred buzzwords of the day.

“Restricting access to reproductive care disproportionately affects our most vulnerable patients, erodes the trust and sanctity of the patient-physician relationship, and criminalizes physicians — all of which negatively impact the health of our community,” detailed MCW before pointing to “the experts.”

“Our Department stands with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and other leading Medical and Healthcare organizations who oppose a ban on abortions. We add our voice to those advocating for access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare for all our patients,” concluded the statement.

Like the commentary from Libs of TikTok, others on social media were repulsed by the student’s remarks and suggested leaving Wisconsin wasn’t the only outcome that should follow her “unspeakable evil.”
