U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Thursday that a permit has been issued to allow Santa’s reindeer to legally enter the United States and with December on track to recording the highest number of illegal immigrants in American history, folks are in no mood for the jocularity.
Record numbers of third-world inhabitants who do not respect our laws, do not share our values, and have no allegiance to our country are flowing into America, making a mockery of U.S. sovereignty, but the USDA is in a jolly mood.
The agency announced that it “issued a transit permit to Mr. S. Nicholas Claus of the North Pole, a distributor with Gifts and Good Cheer, Inc. The permit will allow reindeer to enter and exit the United States between the hours of 6 p.m. on Dec. 24, 2023, and 6 a.m. on Dec. 25, 2023, local time, through or over any U.S. border port.”

“USDA is delighted to grant Mr. Claus and his reindeer a special permit to enter the United States, ensuring a seamless journey for the joy they bring each holiday season,” said Jenny Lester Moffitt, Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs. “We extend a warm welcome to Mr. Claus and recognize the vital role of U.S. milk and cookies in fueling his festive flight.”
Oh, and there was this: “It was noted on the health certificate that one reindeer, Rudolph, has a minor physical anomaly. However, APHIS indicated that Rudolph’s red nose, while bright, was normal for him and not a concern.”
A quote from the fat jolly guy distributing gifts was included.
“It’s important that Gifts and Good Cheer, Inc. take all the right steps and precautions to protect against the potential introduction of pests and diseases,” explained Mr. Claus. “I appreciate USDA’s assistance every year as we gear up for our big night.”
The Heritage Foundation set the right tone in responding to the USDA, as seen here:
USDA’s permit is only for the reindeer.
No word on whether Santa will use his passport, since the southern border is completely open.
Plus, as long as he says the sleigh is a Chinese spy balloon, he can take as much time as he needs in our airspace. pic.twitter.com/0JvArKwtDr https://t.co/uRcQZSrgTI

Here’s a sampling of other responses to the story from X:
I don’t know why they bothered. There are OVER 2million illegal immigrants in the US since Biden became POTUS. None have been vetted and NONE have had permits to enter. Merry Christmas.

If he came in over Texas they’d give him a cellphone and a court date in ten years.

And he’s now sleeping on the floor of a police station

Ironic since they don’t need anything to enter from the southern border

Would be nice if we could do that on the southern border….
