Father Frank Pavone, an aggressive pro-life activist and the former national co-chair of ProLife Voices for Trump, has been reportedly defrocked with no possibility of appeal by the Vatican for “blasphemous communications on social media” and “persistent disobedience” to his diocese superiors.

Pavone, 63, was dismissed as a priest by the Rome-based Prefect of the Dicastery for the Clergy on November 9, according to the Daily Mail, The decision was made public to all US clergy on December 13 except evidently for Pavone himself. The now-former priest found out through the Catholic News Agency and still has not received official word that he is no longer in the clergy.

“Father Pavone was given ample opportunity to defend himself in the canonical proceedings, and he was also given multiple opportunities to submit himself to the authority of his diocesan bishop,” the Vatican reportedly proclaimed in a letter that was sent by Archbishop Christophe Pierre, the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States who represents the Pope in Washington, D.C.

“It was determined that Father Pavone had no reasonable justification for his actions,” the ambassador declared.

When the news broke about his defrocking, Pavone tweeted, “Hi friends… So in every profession, including the priesthood, if you defend the #unborn, you will be treated like them! The only difference is that when we are ‘aborted,’ we continue to speak, loud and clear.”

“I’ve been persecuted in the church for decades, decades. This is nothing new for me,” he told the Catholic News Agency. “They just don’t like the work I’m doing for these babies.”

According to the Daily Mail, Pavone asserted that he was forced out of the clergy because most Catholics are Democrats and because he took a pro-Trump, pro-life stance.

Father Pavone came under fire when he allegedly placed a dead fetus on an altar in Amarillo, Texas in November 2016 to make a statement on abortion. He was booted from the diocese in 2019. Later, Pavone insisted it was not an altar.

“Here before me lies a baby killed by abortion in the second trimester of pregnancy,” Pavone stated in the Facebook livestream video. “But today we are going to pray with this baby and we are going to let this baby’s body bear witness to our nation as we begin the process to elect our next president.”

The diocese accused him in September 2020 of using “scandalous words not becoming of a Catholic priest.” And yet, radical leftist priests such as Chicago’s Father Michale Pfleger are given a pass.

When former President Trump ran for reelection, Pavone reportedly tweeted that then-nominee Joe Biden was a ‘f***ing loser” and said the Democratic Party was “God-hating” and “America-hating.”

In alleged now-deleted tweets, he is said to have declared that Biden’s voters “can’t say a f***ing thing in support of their loser candidate without using the word Trump.”

“What the hell do you have to say for yourselves, losers?” Pavone demanded, according to the Daily Mail.

Saturday evening, Pavone announced that he had been forced out for his pro-life views.

“The Biden administration comes along, and other radical whackos come along and try to make you cooperate in the killing of babies,” he stated. “Politicians, opposed because of their pro-life stance. People shut out of their committees because they are too vocal, too conservative.”

“It happens in the Church. It’s part of the same dynamic – an effort to keep us quiet about this,” he charged while holding up a graphic diagram of an abortion. “Could be your employer, could be my bishop. And if you don’t shut up, ‘you’re not listening to me.’ Just don’t be surprised that the battle is also within the walls of that building you see behind me.”

While the Vatican is furious at Pavone, there are bishops and others within the church who are incensed over the Biden administration pushing abortion on Americans.
