Video captures brazen mob of robbers in California SACKING a Nordstrom store

Shocking video footage of a brazen mob of thieves engaging in an organized ransacking of a Nordstrom department store shows the terrifying situation that now exists in Los Angeles, one of the Democrat-run cities that have descended into lawlessness.

The action went down on Saturday at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park when the store was invaded by dozens of masked looters in dark clothing who swarmed the location, smashing display cases to steal merchandise and attacking security personnel with bear spray, an ominous sign that emboldened criminals are now banding together in the City of Angels.

During their rampage, the thieves grabbed armfuls of designer clothing and other items, some with anti-theft tags still attached to them and were able to flee the scene of the crime in multiple getaway vehicles after collecting their loot.

“That is ludicrous,” a local shopper told the outlet. “I’m disgusted. I like to come here, but seeing this makes me not want to come here.”

“Terrible. I’ve never seen anything like it,” another shopper told NBC Los Angeles. “This is a disgrace. It is. It’s a disgrace.

“I saw three cars pull up, and I saw these guys just running out with all these purses. They just grabbed all the YSL,” the person who is named Janie said, referring to Yves Saint Laurent products.

Videos by citizens who captured the harrowing experience and its aftermath on cellphones circulated on social media.

Los Angeles Police began to receive reports of the mass robbery at Nordstrom around 4 p.m. according to KTLA.

“To those who live in the area and patronize the Topanga Mall it is a loss of feeling safe. The LAPD will exhaust all efforts to bring those responsible into custody and seek criminal prosecution,” he LAPD said in a short statement.

Police estimate that the value of the items stolen was between $60,000 to $100,000 and are currently investigating leads to find the culprits.

“What happened today at the Nordstrom in the Topanga Mall is absolutely unacceptable. Those who committed these acts and acts like it in neighboring areas must be held accountable. The Los Angeles Police Department will continue to work to not only find those responsible for this incident but to prevent these attacks on retailers from happening in the future,” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said in a statement.

The mob invasion is the second time that the Canoga Park Nordstrom outlet has been hit, with the first being a smash-and-grab robbery in November 2021, one of the stores that was targeted during a string of high-end robberies at the time.
