Multiple members of the establishment left, including of course a couple of so-called “journalists,” made an issue Friday out of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a Republican, being spotted unmasked at the late Republican politician Bob Dole’s funeral.
There was just one problem …
Video footage from the funeral shows that of those allegedly morally superior beings who were wearing masks, a whole lot of them were wearing them incorrectly.
Take Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who was seen sitting next to and speaking with Cruz. While a mask did cover her face, it only covered a part of it — not including her nose. Meanwhile, the masks ostensibly on the faces of the two politicos sitting behind the pair weren’t covering either their mouths or their noses.

It’s been known since the beginning of the pandemic that wearing a mask like this does nothing to stave off the coronavirus or any other virus. Flash-back to April of 2020, when The New York Times ran a piece titled, “How NOT to Wear a Mask.”
“One of the biggest mistakes people make is that they fidget with their masks, and pull them under their noses or completely off their faces to rest under their chins,” the piece reads.
“You should absolutely not be pulling up and putting down your mask while you’re out. If you’re going to go to the trouble of using a mask, leave it on,” the Times quotes an apparent expert as saying.
It’s been 20 months since the report’s publication, and evidently, neither Klobuchar nor the politicos seen sitting behind her know any better.
And yet, the left’s focus was centered squarely on Cruz, with none other than House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hateful daughter Christine leading the brigade:

All of those old people sitting at the Bob Dole service, but Ted Cruz refused to wear a mask.
What a selfish asshole. pic.twitter.com/U8kpXAfEUC

Interesting to see who is in attendance at Bob Dole’s funeral. Among those I spotted, Labor Sec Marty Walsh and NBC’s Savannah Guthrie who is sitting next to Tom Hanks. Oh, and Ted Cruz…not wearing a mask.

Anyone else DISGUSTED about Ted Cruz refusing to wear a mask at Bob Dole’s service?

Notice how some of the critics seen above were at least intellectually honest enough to admit that “almost everyone else” was wearing a mask. But for some reason, they chose to make an issue specifically out of Cruz not wearing one.
The same critics predictably tweeted nothing about the improper, ultimately pointless mask-wearing by Klobuchar and the two individuals seated behind her.
For those paying attention, however, their mask-wearing was further proof of the COVID theater that has been in progress since the beginning of the pandemic. So was Pelosi’s faux outrage, given as her own mother is notorious for not wearing a mask.

so do you say the same thing about your idiot mother who goes around maskless all the time?

Ire was also directed at so-called “journalist” Howard Fineman, who had the audacity to accuse Cruz of having politicized Dole’s funeral.
Look:
That Ted Cruz feels the need to politicize the pandemic at a funeral is absolutely consistent with the disgusting man he has proven to be.
We need leaders who make challenging decisions in SUPPORT of the public, not in support of personal ambitions. https://t.co/btEHF7fU6y

.@tedcruz is just attending a funeral. Everyone commenting on whether or not he wears a mask are the ones politicizing the pandemic at a funeral.

He isn’t the only one who wasn’t wearing a mask. Stop being so predictable, targeting only what you want to see.

He wasn’t the only one. Which you would know if you actually cared about facts but clearly you don’t.

If that makes you pick at your crack, you should have seen Klobuchar before she thought the cameras were on…and everyone else around them.#covidtheatre#easilyduped

As seen above, President Joe Biden, the country’s most loquacious mask shamer, also has a demonstrable habit of lecturing Americans in one breath, but then turning around and prancing about the country either without a mask or with a mask worn improperly.
Covid theater (or “theatre”) indeed!
