Video of Fetterman arguing with pilot resurfaces as left launches smear campaign

A resurfaced video clip of Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) arguing with a pilot went viral on Friday after a savage hit piece was published that suggested he’s mentally unstable and not fit to remain in the Senate.

In the months-old footage, the Pennsylvania Democrat is seen sitting in his seat onboard the flight to Pittsburgh with the pilot standing over him instructing him that even if he was wearing a seatbelt, it had to be visible to the flight attendants in accordance with federal regulations.

Fetterman’s words are unclear, but the pilot can be heard clearly explaining that compliance wasn’t optional.

“If you want to go to Pittsburgh, it’s simple,” the pilot said. “You’re going to have to follow our instructions or be asked to get off the airplane.”

The video was posted after it was briefly mentioned in New York Magazine’s Intelligencer story that featured a number of former Fetterman staffers with very unflattering things to say about their one-time boss.

“Still, some of Fetterman’s behavior was leaking out into public. Last year, the Sunrise Movement posted a video of Fetterman mocking and filming one of his constituents, a climate activist who was calmly trying to ask him about his stance on pipelines. Earlier this year, a passenger on a flight to Pittsburgh filmed a video of Fetterman getting into an argument with the pilot about wearing his seat belt in a way that was visible to the crew,” according to the piece, which was put together by Ben Terris, his first for the left-wing rag.

In the hit piece, Fetterman’s former staffers describe erratic behavior from the hoodie-clad galoot who demonstrated obvious mental impairment during his run for the Keystone State’s Senate seat after suffering from a debilitating stroke in 2022.

During that campaign, the leftist media had his back despite his frequent confusion and inability to string coherent sentences together, which culminated in a dumpster fire of a debate performance against then-GOP Senate hopeful Dr. Mehmet Oz. None of it mattered to Democrats who sent him to Washington anyway; now they have turned on him.

The change of heart about Fetterman comes down to one word: Israel. And it was the senator’s outspoken support for the Jewish nation after Hamas terrorist butchers massacred more than 1,200 of its citizens in the October 7, 2023, sneak attack on civilian areas that infuriated his own party’s progressive base and the media, both of which are rife with Hamas sympathizers.

During a March visit to Israel, Fetterman was recognized for his staunch support by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who gifted him a silver beeper.

Fetterman also bucked his party by sitting down with President Trump in Mar-a-Lago earlier this year, and Democrats will never forgive him for breaking ranks with the resistance.

The motivation behind the smear campaign is as clear as day, and X users aren’t being fooled.

“Funny how they didn’t run these hit pieces or question Fetterman’s mental health during the campaign when he was barely able to speak or when he so spectacularly fumbled the debate against Dr. Oz. But now that he turned out not to be a deranged Trump hater, a psychotic terrorist lover, or an obedient progressive, suddenly they’re starting to question his mental acuity,” wrote another user.

The left wants Fetterman gone and replaced with someone more reliable, a complete turnaround since he made it clear he firmly stands with Israel.
