Before Governor Tim Walz became Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, he was overseeing the state of Minnesota as it was ravaged by the 2020 George Floyd protests.
While everyone remembers the curfews that came at the same time as the COVID-19 lockdowns, it’s worth remembering how some of those rules were enforced by leaders.

According to a USA Today article from the time this video was first posted, uniformed National Guardsmen flanked by a Humvee could be seen walking the streets to enforce the curfew. At one point, they demanded several people vacate their porch and go inside their home. When their demands failed, the officers fired paintballs.
“It is unclear if the video was taken before or after curfew. A FAQ document posted by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety says that individuals can be on their porch during curfew but says people must listen to officers’ orders,” reads the article.
“If a law enforcement officer or other public safety official asks you to go inside, or take any other action, you must follow the instruction,” said the website, which is no longer functional.
X users discussed the flashback video:
Reading as much as I can about this incident back in 2020 it was during the riots but not done anywhere near where the riots were. He ordered the national guard in and already had Covid restrictions in place and issued an additional curfew for the riots. Why he sent troops into…

If Walz is in any way associated with this he should not be in government in any shape or form.

He was perfectly willing to use unlawful force against peaceful people on their stoops and porches for the violation of breathing fresh air, but couldn’t be bothered to use even harsh words for the George Floyd demonstrators throwing Molotov cocktails.

I honestly thought this had to be fake. Unbelievable.
Coming to a neighborhood near you if the Harris/Walz ticket wins.

Also proof that there are plenty of people who will use force against you in the name of the state.

He sent large bands of police officers to force citizens sitting peacefully on their own front porch into their homes by assaulting them? That alone, above all else, should be disqualifying…whether for Covid or for civil unrest elsewhere in that city. That is some fascist shit…

This could only happen in certain states. In mine for instance, we’d return with live fire. Thus this wouldn’t happen in the first place.

This is why the Demonrats want to take your guns. The only reason.

I dunno who I hold more at fault, Walz or the people mindlessly following orders.
