Over the last decade or so, few pundits have been as consistently unhinged as Jennifer Rubin of The Washington Post, and she just served up one of her twisted takes about former President Donald J. Trump.
In a Friday screed published by Pravda on the Potomac, the shrill columnist may as well have been describing herself in referring to Kamala Harris’ attack on her GOP opponent as “unstable and unhinged.”
The left-wing commentator dipped into the standard neocon propaganda bag to once again draw a false equivalent between the former president and Der Führer by claiming that Trump’s upcoming rally at Madison Square Garden is akin to a 1939 Nazi Bund rally at the same venue.
So Trump burrows deeper into the belly of the MAGA beast, schedules a rally at Madison Square Garden reminiscent of the German American Bund’s Nazi rally in February 1939. A man increasingly showing signs of intellectual and physical deterioration (e.g., falling asleep at his…

“So Trump burrows deeper into the belly of the MAGA beast, schedules a rally at Madison Square Garden reminiscent of the German American Bund’s Nazi rally in February 1939. A man increasingly showing signs of intellectual and physical deterioration (e.g., falling asleep at his trial and his own convention, sometimes appearing listless and tired at rallies even before Monday’s gobsmacking outing) seeks to pump himself and his followers up in feverish rallies that play on hatred of immigrants and revenge fantasies,” Rubin wrote in a post to X, sharing a link to her deranged WaPo rant.
Rubin’s ridiculous dredging up of the infamous event from the WW II era to smear Trump because he’s holding a rally at Gotham’s preeminent arena, the home of the NHL’s New York Rangers as well as the host to concerts and other events, earned her a good sound flogging from X users.
Do you really have no idea that you sound like a raving lunatic ? The Nazi narrative is cute when Schumer certainly didn’t seem to mind socializing with Trump at the event last night. Why would anyone attend an event that would allow the next Hitler to participate? It’s also…

FACT CHECK: Holding a campaign event at Madison Square Garden is not “reminiscent” of nazism or Nazi rallies. In fact, Madison Square Garden is frequently home to many events including concerts, pro sports, comedy, circuses, and conventions.

I have the feeling he could attend the birthday party of one of his grandchildren and you would liken it to a klan rally. You’re beyond repair at this point, hopelessly broken.

After two for sure assassination attempts, and one strong maybe, you’re still trying to get Trump assassinated, Jen.
Control your feelings.
Control yourself.Stop fanning the flames of violence.

Never mind that the Trump-Hitler rhetoric has already inspired two assassination attempts, when all you’ve got is history for ignoramuses, Rubin and her ilk are going to keep selling it.
