WATCH: Biden DISRESPECTS soldiers in public act – we know what happened

President Joe Biden is taking fire for walking off before the end of a White House ceremony where he presented the Medal of Honor to an elderly veteran with X users calling out his lack of respect.

On Tuesday, the octogenarian leader had just completed hanging the prestigious award around the neck of 81-year-old retired Army Captain Larry Taylor who was being honored for his heroism in Vietnam when he abruptly turned and headed for the exit of the White House East Room prior to the closing prayer.

The president also violated precautionary measures to wear a mask while indoors at the White House after multi-vaxxed first lady Jill Biden tested positive for the virus over the weekend, potentially exposing the war hero to COVID despite his advanced age putting him at elevated risk of infection.

Biden – who has tested negative for the virus – had removed his KN-95-style face diaper prior to stepping up to the lectern to present the Medal of Honor to Capt. Taylor.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that Biden would again be masking up during the daily press briefing.

The disrespect shown by the Commander in Chief by bolting early was harshly condemned by X users after a video of the ceremony was posted to the platform with many of his critics being military veterans.

“At least he didn’t check his watch this time,” said Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Texas), an Army vet, referring to Biden’s disgraceful glimpse at his watch during a 2021 ceremony to honor the 13 service members who were killed in a terrorist suicide bombing at the Kabul airport after the regime surrendered Afghanistan to the Taliban.

“Pardon my French…But what a f*cking idiot,” said podcaster Shawn Ryan, a former Navy SEAL.

More reactions to Biden’s disrespectful behavior during a moment that merited solemnity and respect:

During his service as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, Capt. Taylor risked his own life while under heavy enemy fire to rescue a four-man team whom he was able to evacuate in his AH-1G Cobra helicopter gunship on June 18, 1968, near Ap Go Cong.

“When duty called, Larry did everything — did everything to answer. And because of that, he rewrote the fate of four families for generations to come,” Biden said during the ceremony. “That’s valor. That’s valor.”
