Newly released bodycam video shows Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin talking with police after a fender bender.
The video, obtained by Scripps News, shows a traffic accident between Tyler Robinson and another driver after they came into contact at an intersection. Then-19, Robinson says that he “T-boned” the other driver with his Audi after the other vehicle tried to make a left-hand turn in front of him.

“(The other driver) would’ve been there going left, and as I was coming through, he turned in, and I T-boned into the side of him,” Robinson, who would later go on to be accused of the assassination of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk, explained to the officer.
“I just – just as I left the house, I put oil in it. Just topped it off,” he continued, referring to his vehicle that was now leaking oil following the collision.
Neither driver was injured or cited for the incident, and the eerie normalcy of the interaction is in stark contrast to the version of Robinson that Americans have come to know following Kirk’s slaying.
