‘We chose Kamala’: Jill Biden slips up on book tour

Former First Lady Jill Biden has either had an unfortunate slip of the tongue, or she just confirmed what Republicans were saying during the last four years.

Speaking to MS NOW as part of her book tour, the conversation turned toward the relationship between former President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. It’s here that the interesting slip-up takes place.

Watch:

“Joe and Kamala, me and Doug, I thought we made a great team. We chose Kamala, or Joe chose Kamala to be VP, and so we were supportive of her. And look, when Joe got out, he handed over the reins to Kamala. He had full confidence in her. I went out on the road a lot, a lot, for Kamala, and honestly, I truly believed she was going to win,” Jill Biden said.

This is particularly noteworthy because Republicans theorized that, due to the former president’s obvious cognitive decline, there had to be someone else pulling the strings in his campaign and his White House following his 2020 win. Some suggested that the person was Jill Biden, who seemed to have a larger influence than previous first ladies.
