A critically ill 15-year-old boy took a risk, and it’s paying off bigly.
Young Will from Alabama “took the bull by the horns” as his mother would later say to use the power of social media in a plea to access a new drug to fight the bone cancer that spread through his body and already took part of his leg.
“My chemos are just not working,” Will said of the cancer he’s been fighting since January 2025. He went on to explain that he and his family have been trying everything, but nothing has worked, even to slow the spread of his cancer.
“We’re getting towards the end of the road, and I need help,” he said.
He asked folks to please share the video and said even if it’s too late for him, awareness of the drug might help other kids in his dire situation. He specifically asked if the video could be forwarded to President Trump and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“That would just help me so much.”
He heartbreakingly explained how his mother is enduring “sleepless, sleepless nights” researching, praying, and weeping.
“My mom found this drug that could possibly save my life … y’all, I’m terrified, just like you would be if y’all knew that y’all about to die.”

Will’s original video was reportedly posted on Facebook. Still, the magic didn’t happen until it made its way to X, and folks got to work sharing, tagging, and commenting on the heart-wrenching story.
Country music star John Rich was one of many who answered Will’s call:
Does anyone know how to contact him?

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino responded to the trending video by tagging President Trump, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Administrator Dr.Mehmet Oz, and RFK Jr.
“We see and hear you, Will,” Scavino posted on X.
We see and hear you, Will. Hang in there🙏@WhiteHouse, @POTUS, @DrOzCMS, @SecKennedy are tracking.

Hours later, news was circulating that Will’s family was contacted by Dr. Oz, who was putting them in contact with the resources they needed to get the drug DeltaRex-G, which might be the boy’s last chance.
Will’s mother confirmed the trending topic with a Facebook post thanking all who reached out to help and shared her son’s plea.
“Because of ALL of this and EACH of you we got a call this morning from Dr. Oz,” her post stated.
“He personally contacted the developing doctors of the drug DeltaRex-G in Santa Monica… and just like that …. Movement began.”
“I am overwhelmed in a way I can’t explain … I just know something shifted. And it shifted FAST,” she said.
She praised her brave son who “refused to stay quiet” while watching “his parents dying on the inside along with him, and knowing he could give many others a chance.”
“So tonight, I’m asking you to do one thing… Get on your knees and thank God. PRAISE HIM!!! God has been moving this entire time.”

No child should ever have to suffer from this. Please release the cures for the sake of all who are fighting for their lives. We’ve lost too many that should have been saved.

Jesus please heal Will from his cancer. We thank you for our President who is working hard to give people more options for treatment. Please show Will where more than one father to ask something in your name, it will be done for them! We ask you for complete healing for Will!…
