While corporations leaned into promoting an open borders entertainer, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem had a message specifically for the “weak” NFL.
In case it wasn’t clear enough that the powers that be in the broadcast industry had a slant against national sovereignty, the decision to tap rapper Bad Bunny for the Super Bowl LX halftime show appeared enough to cement the notion for many. Now, as outrage continued over picking the anti-ICE Puerto Rican entertainer for the biggest stage in television, Noem insisted that the NFL “won’t be able to sleep at night …”
Speaking with commentator Benny Johnson on “The Benny Show,” the secretary was asked to give her message to the professional sports league to which she responded, “They suck, and we’ll win, and God will bless us, and we’ll stand and be proud of ourselves at the end of the day, and they won’t be able to sleep at night because they don’t know what they believe, and they’re so weak. We’ll fix it.”
BREAKING: DHS Secretary Kristi Noem CONFIRMS that ICE will be at the Super Bowl and enforcing at the Bad Bunny Halftime Show.

As had been reported, the cross-dressing rapper, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, had previously expressed a desire to no longer perform in the United States because “f*cking ICE could be outside [my concerts]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”
That concern had been met with a promise from Noem, who confirmed to Johnson regarding the Super Bowl, “So yeah, we’ll be all over that place … we’re gonna enforce the law. So I think people should not be coming to the Super Bowl unless they’re law-abiding Americans who love this country.”
The same message had been delivered to Johnson earlier in the week when adviser Corey Lewandowski had appeared on the program and said, “There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you and apprehend you and put you in a detention facility and deport you.”
Notably, the announcement that Bad Bunny would be the headliner for the show taking place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California came only days before Apple, sponsor of the halftime performance via Apple Music, had announced compliance with the Justice Department’s request to remove the ICEBlock app, used for reporting were immigration enforcement agents are in real time, from the App Store.
Apple’s statement read, “We created the App Store to be a safe and trusted place to discover apps. Based on information we’ve received from law enforcement about the safety risks with ICEBlock, we have removed it and similar apps from the App Store.”
Meanwhile, NBC, which holds the broadcasting rights for Super Bowl LX, was set to feature Bad Bunny as the host of the October 4 “Saturday Night Live” season premiere after performing as the musical guest for the season finale earlier this year.
