Wes Moore suggests Trump ‘uninvited’ him from WH governor’s event because he’s black

Democrat Maryland Governor Wes Moore suggested that he was “uninvited” to this year’s National Governors Association (NGA) dinner by President Donald J. Trump because he’s black.

The governor made his shocking claim in a Sunday post to X, further stirring the pot of racial resentment that boiled over when Democrats and the media melted down over an inadvertent snippet of a parody video depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes that was posted to Trump’s Truth Social account last week.

“This week, I learned that I was uninvited to this year’s National Governors Association dinner — a decades-long annual tradition meant to bring governors from both parties together to build bonds and celebrate a shared service to our citizens with the President of the United States,” he wrote. “My peers, both Democrats and Republicans, selected me to serve as the Vice Chair of the NGA, another reason why it’s hard not to see this decision as another example of blatant disrespect and a snub to the spirit of bipartisan federal-state partnership.”

“As the nation’s only Black governor, I can’t ignore that being singled out for exclusion from this bipartisan tradition carries an added weight — whether that was the intent or not,” Moore added, insinuating that Trump is a racist, an accusation that is once again being dragged out by Democrats after mixed success with their Hitler comparisons.

On Friday, the New York Times reported that Moore was “personally blocked” by Trump, the same day that the Obamas outrage campaign erupted. Also reportedly disinvited was Democrat Gov. Jared Polis, who isn’t black but is openly gay, which will likely have Democrats accusing the president of being a homophobe too.

X users ripped Moore’s shameless race-baiting.

Moore, another one of the cheap Barack Obama imitations that his party continues to produce, also implied that Trump’s alleged decision to omit him from the guest list was rooted in racial animus, although not specifically coming out and saying it.

When asked by rabidly partisan “State of the Union” anchor Dana Bash about the snub, Moore threw down the race card.

“Well, I‘ve long learned that I‘m not trying to get inside of the president‘s psyche. It‘s not a good use of my time. It‘s it‘s not lost on me that I‘m the only black governor in this country,” Moore responded.

“You‘re saying that he‘s excluding you because of the color of your skin?” Bash asked.

“Well, I don‘t know, I can‘t speak to the president‘s intent. It‘s not lost to me, but I can‘t speak to the president‘s intent,” the governor said.
